Final day of the gates
By the sixth day the real heavy hitters of the Worm universe came out in full force completely decimating the defends force through the aid of Eidolon,Legend,Gavel and Fairie Queen.
Alexandria was teleported away from my grasp by a shadow that I assume is Strider when I wasn't paying rapt attention and focusing on her.
Seeing the overwhelming force that concentrated on me I sent an overpowered solar flare to the atmosphere requesting urgent aid while I held the line.
Eidolon. He is powerful. Worm never really showed how strong he was but you could tell as since Contessa once believed he was the answer to Scion.
The answer to a dimensional entity takes a lot of strength and it showed.
He led the charge against me and I had to keep teleporting to escape from him which eventually wasn't available to me as he used an ability that locks spacial transportation in a wide range.
He seemed to be running a brute power that put him on par with Alexandria in strength and punched me so hard I hallucinated seeing my grandma in the skies.
Ultimate Class. There is no doubt about it. I need to level up fast to even stand a chance against him.
I open up the Gates of Babylon and create over three hundred portals all teeming with copies of the Moonlight Greatsword and fired indiscriminately at their direction killing hundreds of them while Eidolon used some sort of power to a phase through them as he kept coming at me.
But the others were not so lucky. What I can guess are military and PRT enforcers were mowed down and impaled by my blades as were parahumans which elevated my levels quickly.

Damn this isn't enough I thought while dodging a blow that destroyed the building behind me by Eidolon as I scrambled out of his way.

A fist came barrelling down on me probably to end the fight. I activated my magic and used to to push me the hell out of the way.
"Why are you running! You were having fun torturing my friend. Allow me to repay the favor!" said Eidolon but it came out as a bungled up mess due to the stranger effect but I could feel the contempt running through him.
"I received the signal,kid. Your the last one in this gate." said a voice from behind me amd I was unexpectedly staring at the face of the Strongest Human,Vasco Strada. A dark man wearing a priest garment while a massive sword was positioned on his back. He was bigger than I expected. Easily seven foot amd his presence was so warm and freeing to be around.
"Yeah. I can barely survive right now. He has been displaying different abilities all to counter mine and more. Do not underestimate him." I replied while giving as much intel as I could in a short time.
"We only have five minutes before this gates break through and allow them permanent passage into our world. Go all out!"
"I see. The other gates have been closed. This is the last one others are converging but they won't be here in time. It's just me and you,son. Can you still fight?" he asked with a soft, understanding tone that seemed to inspire even more confidence in me.
"Clairvoyance."

Fuck it can be detected? Fuck I am dumb. It's magic of course it can be detected. This isn't some system manhwa.
"Forgive me, Father Strada."
"Just learn from this. Such spells are undetectable used on those weaker than you. But if someone is on the same level or stronger. They can block or falsify the information while still detecting you. Be careful and my the Lord be with you."
With that he stepped forward and started chanting his aria.

And his form changed! It felt like all the moisture was getting burned away. I couldn't breathe properly. His presence came crashing down and I fell to my knees.

With sheer willpower I stumbled back to my feet and stood. My hubris, my pride would never allow me remain on my knees for anyone or anything.
Unfortunately I seem to have been struggling to stand for long as when I finally stabilised I saw Father Strada holding Eidolon by the head, his mask broken and blood flowing from his face.
And the gates had turned red and Earth Bet had succeeded in gaining way into this world and the shadow effect were gone and I gazed on humans.
