Chapter 68 - chapter 68

"I've known the names of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse for a long time."

"You're trying to ambush me too?"

Robert sneered in contempt.

The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse were legendary figures.

He had just emerged with three companions—of course he had been prepared.

Robert had been on high alert from the very beginning.

What he didn't expect was that someone would actually dare to launch a sneak attack on him. That was nothing short of suicide.

But who exactly was this unknown attacker who had suddenly appeared?

Just as Robert was pondering this, Magneto answered his unspoken question.

"Mikhail Rasputin!"

"Robert, be careful. That guy is definitely not dead!"

"He once entered a different dimension and now possesses a dark, corrupted power."

"He can manipulate space, control energy, and bend power itself!"

"He's even more terrifying than Sebastian!"

Robert's brows furrowed slightly.

The Mutant race truly had an overwhelming number of freakishly strong individuals.

The well-known ones were manageable; one could find a way to counter them.

The truly dangerous ones were those whose reputations were obscure—yet whose abilities were bizarre and insanely overpowered.

Just like this so-called Knight of Apocalypse—Robert had never even heard of him before. Yet the man had abilities that were absolutely extraordinary.

Robert had taken a hit from him and still lived.

He had been blasted from the ground, and yet not even scratched.

The three Apocalypse Knights now stood in formation, ready to take on Robert together.

But here was the difference.

Robert looked relaxed and at ease.

Meanwhile, the three Knights looked like they were confronting a terrifying force—as if they were staring into the abyss itself.

Even Magneto was taken aback.

Robert was becoming more and more powerful.

If, back at the X-Men Academy, he could still be considered an ordinary White-class Mutant…

Now, he had undeniably become something else entirely.

A powerhouse.

A being far beyond ordinary Mutants.

Three top-tier Mutants—each terrifying in their own right—stood before him, and yet they looked as if they were bracing themselves for death.

Each of the three Apocalypse Knights had unique, nightmarish abilities.

Now, after being empowered further by Apocalypse, they were even more terrifying.

And yet, Robert—fighting them three against one—still had the upper hand.

To this day, Magneto still couldn't fathom the extent of Robert's power.

He was stunned.

Even Wolverine, who was lying on the ground, found himself speechless.

This long-lived Mutant, who had survived over a century and witnessed countless earth-shattering events, was now seeing something that even he found difficult to comprehend.

Everyone's powers were vastly beyond what he had expected.

With this level of destructive capability, they could easily annihilate an entire city.

It was truly terrifying.

Why had he never realized that this kid, Robert, possessed such devastating power?

On the battlefield, two of Robert's old acquaintances were left so shocked they couldn't speak.

High in the sky—

Apocalypse stood hovering with his three knights, locked in confrontation with Robert.

The more powerful Robert appeared, the more intense the regret in Apocalypse's eyes.

"What a pity," Apocalypse murmured. "Such a genius, and yet he cannot be made to serve me."

"It's truly a loss for Mutants."

"But don't worry… I will take good care of your body."

"You will contribute your strength to my empire."

Floating midair, Apocalypse's eyes gradually changed.

When Robert met his gaze, he felt a chill creep down his spine and a wave of disgust wash over him.

Apocalypse had a twisted ability.

By transferring his consciousness, he could prolong his life and absorb the abilities of others.

He had become as powerful as he was—standing atop a mountain of sacrificed lives.

"Heh."

"You want to possess my body? You and your little entourage?"

"What a ridiculous dream!"

Robert sneered.

He raised his right hand.

"Green Lantern burns bright! Eternal Light!"

Robert unleashed his full willpower into the Green Lantern Ring.

The ring erupted in brilliant green light.

It shone like a beacon in the sky, dazzling and radiant.

The clouds above were all dyed green under the blaze of energy.

And when the light finally dimmed—

Behind Robert appeared over twenty towering robots, each more than twenty meters tall.

They were armed with a variety of energy weapons and high-tech melee equipment.

"Now tell me," Robert said with a smirk, "who's ganging up on whom?"

"Apocalypse, your team seems a bit outnumbered."

With just a thought, Robert directed his mechanical army forward.

These robots—manifestations of his will—were none other than Transformers.

Jets of energy blasted from the thrusters on their backs as they charged through the air.

Their speed broke the sound barrier.

More than twenty uniquely designed Transformers readied their weapons and surged toward Apocalypse and his followers.

The faces of the three Knights turned as green as sour grapes.

Among them, two specialized in psychic powers.

But the Transformers had no human souls—they were created by willpower and constructed via the ring's mental matrix.

They were immune to any form of psychic manipulation.

The White Queen attempted to seize control anyway.

Too late.

The robot resembling Optimus Prime had already raised his plasma blade.

The vibrating plasma sword crackled with energy—its destructive power immense.

The air itself seemed to ignite under its swing.

Seeing the massive blade—easily over a meter in length—the White Queen barely had time to scream before she was struck and sent flying.

The attack left her in a pitiful state.

But it didn't end there.

Three Autobots zoomed after her, their weapons raised high, ready to strike again.
