In a very vulnerable state,Karna was still trying to get his chariot's wheel out of the mud.He had already lost the memories of his skills and mantras,taught by Lord Parsurama.
Lord Parsurama's curse was the very reason of his vulnerable state,at his end moments.
Karna looked up and saw the charioteer of the whole Universe,in front of him.Behind him,was standing Karna's own brother,who was also his archenemy since the beginning.
Krishna had entitled Karna about the truth of Karma cycle.So,he pretty much accepted his death already.
He just decided not to keep trying till the ultimate end.
Shree Krishna,kept trying to convince Arjun to kill Karna then and there.On the other hand,Arjun kept rejecting to do such a sin as killing a disarmed enemy.
Karna was way past his hatred by then.He simply felt proud,because of his younger brother's righteousness.
Truth to be told,after learning his true relation with the Pandavas,he started adoring them.He was disheartened by his nephew,Abhimanyu's death...
He looked at Arjun and gave a assuring smile.To be fair,the strange smile only haunted Arjun.Something did not seem right at all...
After a lot of pestering and by the mention of Abhimanyu's painful death,Govind finally convinced Arjun to kill Karna,before sunset.
In his last moments,Karna only wished of not getting misunderstood,if his true identity ever comes to light.
He really wished that he had another chace to make everything right.But obviously that was unrealistic.
'Was it really?'
Because a certain someone was listening to all of his thoughts with a sad smile,plastered on his face.
Karna's POV:
The moment,Arjun's Anjalikastra hit my neck,everything went black.I felt no pain at all...
So,it's the end after all...
But opening my eyes,I found myself floating in a pitch black void.It suffocated me...
Was it hell?
The divine light suddenly appearing in the void,proved me to be wrong.
I,Suryaputra Karna,could stare at the Sun for hours straight.But this strange light completely blinded me.
But then,a voice as sweet and divine as music,reached my ear.
