Chapter 72 - Chapter 72: The Hall of the Four Regions

In the world of Ceres,

there are four regions and one legendary region.

The four regions are ranked from lowest to supreme, each one different in size, climate, resources, and diversity of races.

These regions are separated by a colossal, nearly unbreakable barrier.

As for the legendary region, it is a hidden area at the center of Ceres.

It is the strongest of all, and whoever rules this region rules Ceres — and all dimensions.

Ceres itself is shaped like a massive circle.

The closer one gets to its center, the stronger and better the regions become.

And the legendary region is the very heart of that circle.

Since the dawn of this world, the first goal of the races was to ascend, explore the remnants of civilizations from other dimensions, and try to develop their bloodlines and make them purer.

But there were the Egyptians and the ancient Egyptian gods,

who ruled this world with power, wisdom, and justice.

Wars stopped, and the world entered an age of peace — until the First Cosmic War came, and the Egyptian gods disappeared.

But they had left behind a plan — and a true chance for the other races to ascend.

From that moment, the instincts of the races of Ceres returned.

They began fighting each other for this very chance the ancient Egyptians had given them.

Centuries passed, then millennia —

but nothing truly changed. No real ascension happened.

Until the races finally realized that there was a grand plan governing them from the very beginning, and that everything they had done was simply part of that plan.

Their hearts filled with hatred for the ancient Egyptians, feeling deceived —

but they could never fully hate them, for they were the ones who had protected the world and brought peace, and who had even killed themselves for its sake.

Peace returned once again,

but just as there were races seeking peace, there were also races who craved battle, war, and the thrill of slaughtering the weak.

And so, Ceres remained divided for a very long time — between those who wanted war and those who wanted peace.

Those who sought war were called "the Evil Ones,"

and the war-loving races became known as "the Banished Races."

A long war broke out between the two sides.

Because of the murder and destruction caused by the Evil Ones and the Banished Races — wiping out villages and slaughtering the weak — heroes were born for the first time, out of suffering, injustice, and hatred.

Their only goal was to destroy the Evil Ones and the Banished Races, and avenge their bloodlines and families.

For the first time in history, the four regions were ruled by four unbelievably powerful individuals.

After they became rulers of their regions, they were summoned to the Hidden Hall of the Four Regions —

a hall that contained the deepest secrets of Ceres.

This hall was built by the ancient Egyptians, and only the four kings of the regions could enter:

The King of the Lower Regions, the King of the Middle Regions, the King of the High Regions, and finally, the King of the Supreme Regions.

When they were summoned, they discovered great secrets and became stronger —

but they also realized that what they had learned was just a small fragment of the hall's true secrets.

When their time ended, they were expelled from the hall.

They tried to enter again, but no matter how hard they tried, they could not.

The instructions they received were clear:

They had to rule the four regions and fight the Evil Ones and the Banished Races.

Ceres united against the Evil Ones,

as if the very world itself rejected their existence.

Most of them were annihilated, until they became nothing but a legend.

But what no one knew was that the Evil Ones and the Banished Races were simply waiting for the right moment to return — and take revenge.

As time passed, the four kings once again entered the hall after fulfilling a mysterious condition.

They learned even more, but were expelled yet again.

Then something happened that no one expected:

The King of the Lower Regions was assassinated — killed, despite being the undisputed strongest in his region.

Not long after, the King of the Middle Regions was ambushed and killed as well.

Only the Kings of the High and Supreme Regions remained.

They met to try and understand what was happening, and soon discovered that the ones who killed the kings were the Evil Ones and the Banished Races.

Furious, they launched a massive assault against them, and utterly crushed them.

But the Evil Ones had a hidden trump card —

and they managed to kill the King of the High Regions.

No matter how hard they tried, they could not harm — or even touch — the King of the Supreme Regions, the strongest being in existence.

The Evil Ones were forced to retreat and vanish completely — as if they had truly been wiped out.

Years passed, and the King of the Supreme Regions was left alone.

He longed to enter the hall once more.

He decided to disappear from history and rule his regions in secret, leaving everything to the supreme races.

It never crossed anyone's mind to betray him,

for they knew they would never succeed no matter how hard they tried.

The king began thinking of ways to re-enter the hall,

and decided to appoint three new kings to rule the other regions.

He chose candidates and nearly succeeded —

but then something strange happened:

The first candidate died because he sneezed too hard and exploded.

The second was poisoned by a weak toxin that couldn't even kill an ant.

The third simply had his heart stop and died.

The king was shocked, but tried again.

The new candidates died in equally ridiculous ways,

as if the ancient Egyptians were sending him a message:

> "Know your place.

Do not forget — you are merely a part of the plan."

The king understood the message,

but still tried to defy the plan.

He left the matter to his advisors, but they failed as well.

In the end, the king entered a deep slumber, consumed by his strange longing for the hall.

Years passed once more, until the king finally awoke —

but this time, he emerged with a strange new power, stronger than ever before.

A new King of the Middle Regions appeared.

The Banished Races and the Evil Ones awakened.

And the heir of an ancient Egyptian god was born.

The king was now certain that the time to enter the hall was drawing near.

Because of the Evil Ones' return, chaos spread once again across all four regions.

But because humans live in the lower region,

the Evil Ones and the lower Banished Races could not do much there,

so the region remained relatively stable.

However, this weakened humanity's power and delayed their efforts to eliminate the lower races and take control of the lower regions.

They are now trying to ally with them to destroy the Evil Ones and the Banished Races once and for all.

In the middle regions, thanks to the Yeti King who rules them,

the Banished Races were defeated and the situation is almost peaceful.

As for the high regions, their ancient alliance kept them stable —

but they might be the first to fall if a solution isn't found soon.

And in the supreme regions, under the king's orders,

the races united to repel the sudden assault.

Though they hate each other, they hate the Evil Ones more.

Even though things seem stable,

many weak races across the regions — except the high and supreme — have been wiped out.

Villages and cities have been destroyed, and the poor have been slaughtered and looted.

It is time for heroes to rise once again in the world of Ceres.

Meanwhile, on Earth,

signs of chaos have begun to appear due to this sudden power surge.

Some people tried to escape the control of the Five Organizations and do whatever they pleased.

But what is coming next will be beyond anyone's expectations.

Next stop: Everything has been prepared since the very beginning.
