Chapter 69 - Chapter 69: The Council of Clans – The World of Seris (Part Eight – Finale)

When the beast reveals its power and majesty… what will you do?

Will you attack before its full emergence?

Or will you wait with unshaken confidence, fearing nothing?

Or perhaps… will you run?

In truth… your choice doesn't matter before this beast.

Because this is the moment the entire world has been waiting for, for thousands of years.

All the pieces have moved, and everything has begun to come together.

And the question now is… how would you feel if you became the key to a new era?

Not the protagonist of a story, not the villain… just a person who happens to be the key.

Huh? How do you feel imagining that?

No matter what you imagine, you cannot feel what all the beings in the council felt as they watched the Yeti King.

Surrounded by a colossal icy cyclone that concealed his entire body,

except for his eyes… the eyes of a hunter, gazing at its prey, letting them know there is no escape, no salvation.

He rose slowly, his form shifting before their eyes.

But the icy cyclone nearly obscured all his features.

The very air began to change, the whole region turning into a frozen wasteland,

a cold that pierced through their skins and into their hearts.

Shockingly, the Hall of Ancestors in the Middle Regions began to rearrange itself in response to the Yeti King's transformation,

as though it had been waiting for this exact moment since the beginning.

Not just the hall… the entire world of Seris trembled,

and even the earth itself… as though a second transformation had just begun.

Suddenly, a brilliant golden light erupted from both the hall and the Yeti King,

flooding the entire place.

No matter where you were in the universe — on Earth, in other dimensions,

in the lower, middle, upper regions,

or even the supreme regions — you would have seen it.

When the light faded, the figure of the falcon of Osiris appeared, just as in the ancient Egyptian temples and murals.

The falcon — symbol of freedom, power, and majesty — had returned.

It was as though the very sky had been stamped with the seal of the ancient Egyptians, leaving their mark upon the world and the heavens.

And in that moment, the falcon let out a cry that shook the entire cosmos.

As though it was announcing the beginning of everything anew.

Then it flew away and vanished… as though it had been a mere illusion.

But its cry continued to echo everywhere.

After that cry, every clan in the world of Seris was changed.

From the lowest levels to the highest.

Humans, beasts, animals… all creatures felt something.

A strange force strengthening their bodies, purifying their bloodlines,

granting them the chance to grow and ascend.

And when that lone vampire — the only one who had grasped a small fragment of the truth — felt it, he froze in place.

He began to understand that the Curse of the Pharaohs was never a curse of weakness…

but a curse that granted power.

He said to himself:

"What is happening?

Wasn't the Curse of the Pharaohs created to suppress us, to stop us from breaking their plan?

Then why do I feel stronger?

Why does my bloodline feel purer than before?"

Could it be that the ancient Egyptians really did allow the clans a chance to ascend and evolve — but it had simply not yet been revealed until now?

But why would the ancient Egyptians make us stronger?

Wouldn't that mean we could stop humanity from returning — faster and stronger than ever?

Then something deeper dawned on him as he raised his eyes to the sky:

"The curse is not just upon us… it's upon the entire cosmos.

The whole universe is cursed with the Curse of the Pharaohs.

So… will the world and the universe itself evolve?

But why strengthen the universe?

Are there realms higher than the great Empires of the other worlds —

realms that threaten us and seek to invade our world?

To what level did the ancient Egyptians ascend

to make the entire cosmos itself grow stronger?

And to make their curse the most powerful curse in existence — for all of time?

This is no ordinary curse…

This is the Curse of the Pharaohs… the Curse of the Universe itself."

His heart filled with awe and admiration for the ancient Egyptians.

He remembered their stories… how they stood alone against their enemies without aid.

He smiled with joy and sighed as he said:

"You were right, Father… no one escapes the Curse of the Pharaohs.

No counter-plans work, no attempt to flee succeeds."

Then he continued:

"Why run at all?

We should follow this plan, walk alongside it.

We are mere insects compared to them,

and we can never alter their plan… we can only follow it.

As insects, we know nothing."

At that moment, no one knew what would come next as the heir of the vampire clan changed within.

But that moment marked the birth of a fanatic — blindly devoted to the plan of the ancient Egyptians.

The heir of the vampire clan would no longer tolerate any insult toward them.

At the same time, the hidden beasts awakened,

along with the heroes of past ages in the world of Seris,

to witness the official beginning of a new era.

The Era of Growth and Ascension.

And the one who triggered this era… was the Yeti King.

Who had now completed his evolution and stood before them.

Everyone gasped in shock.

Their only thought was:

"How can this be real?"

The Yeti King appeared with blue skin,

a long beard, white hair on his head and chin,

and no hair on the rest of his body.

He spoke in a low but clear voice:

"The Artificial Bloodline: The Bloodline of the Frost Human."

He had become human, but with a new skin color — blue.

As if there were humans of blue skin, not just black and white.

And a halo of the High Bloodlines level appeared around him.

The giants and vampires exchanged glances.

They no longer wished to fight.

Instead, they wanted to leave and test their newfound strength.

And they spoke with one voice:

"Congratulations, Yeti King, on ascending to the level of the High Bloodlines.

We await the day when the Yeti clan ascends to the Upper Regions."

But the Middle Clans were shaken.

Just minutes ago, they were about to fight him to the death,

and now they were congratulating him!

The Yeti King smiled… after all, he was a king.

He knew things had changed.

He would not kill them now —

to avoid creating open hostility with the High Bloodlines and showing them that he feared nothing.

He would remain their rival, a threat they would always be wary of… but not now.

The Yeti King said:

"It doesn't matter. I should be the one thanking you.

And I invite you all to my palace…

You came from far away to congratulate me on my ascension."

Then a shadow of disappointment crossed his face as he added:

"You know I have just ascended…

And I wish to test my strength.

And there is no one but you who can help me."

The giants and vampires looked at each other and thought:

"What a narrow-minded, vengeful soul."

But they smiled and said:

"Of course, Yeti King, we will help you.

It is our duty as High Bloodlines."

In an instant, the atmosphere changed.

Vampire blood rose into the air,

an aura of destruction surrounded the giant,

and the three halos clashed.

In less than a second… the battle began.

Ten blows exchanged in the blink of an eye.

And it was clear that the power of the High Bloodlines

had grown three times faster and stronger than before.

The fight ended quickly.

The giants and vampires fell, defeated,

but their rapid regeneration brought them back to their feet.

Even the Yeti King was wounded,

but he felt satisfied… his resolve only grew.

They said in unison:

"We must leave before our clans think we are dead.

We will meet you again soon."

They fled at high speed, but the Yeti King paid no attention to their words.

He chased after them as if intent on fighting to the death.

The chase turned into a race, crossing thousands of kilometers every moment.

After fifteen minutes, they reached the barrier between the Upper and Middle Regions.

The giants and vampires exchanged a nod, leapt, and vanished into a certain point before the Yeti King arrived.

When the Yeti King reached the spot, he knew it was the breach through which the High Bloodlines had entered the Middle Regions.

He extended his hand and sealed it completely,

then confirmed that there were no other breaches… and vanished.

He appeared in the council before the Middle Clans and the Dragon King.

They all knelt without hesitation and shouted:

"Long live the Yeti King, ruler of the Middle Regions!"

It was a historic moment…

The Middle Regions had finally united.

And in two different places, two people were watching the scene.

One analyzed silently.

The other stood right behind the Yeti King,

his heart consumed by hatred… he, too, was a Yeti.

Next stop: The Supreme Clans.
