After his consciousness drifted away into nothingness, Stellan found himself floating in an infinite darkness where he could see nothing but a small light from a distance.
This small light slowly began to engulf everything around it including his floating body and consciousness.
Stellan tighty closed his eyes, fearing that the light might consume him.
As he opened his eyes, Stellan found himself lying in the middle of the dark alley in a different place.
At first, Stellan thought that getting hit by a truck was just a nightmare, a very scary nightmare.
Sighing in relief, Stellan was thankful when he found his whole body still intact.
"Thank god, I thought I was a goner because of that truck, luckily it was just a nightmare."
Stellan thought as he felt his whole body drenched in sweat.
Raising his hands to wipe his eyes good morning, Stellan noticed his hands were covered in red liquid and his wrist had a huge cut in it.
He tried to lift his body from the ground but Stellan couldn't muster the energy to do so.
Using all his strength, Stellan rolled to his side and saw the pool of red liquid that he was basically submerged into.
"What? Is this blood? Is this my blood?"
Stellan finally felt the pain from the cuts in his wrists as he noticed a piece of broken glass by his side.
"Urgh! When did I cut my own wrist!?
Stellan realized that the pool of red liquid was indeed blood because of its smell.
When he took a closer look into the pool of blood, Stellan screamed in fear when he saw a reflection of a different face in it instead of his own.
"WAAA! Who's that!?"

A notification sound rang through his head.
"That's right! My phone! I need to call the police."
Looking for his phone, Stellan noticed that he wasn't wearing his own clothes but rather a tattered clothes that was drenched in blood, and doesn't have any pockets to put his phone into.

"What? Who... who's there!? Who's that!?"
Looking at where the voice that sounds like an Artificial Intelligent came from, Stellan stuttered in fear, but found nothing, only a dirty and dark alley full of trash.
"I know Karate!? So, if you are planning something bad towards me, you will be in big trouble!"
Stellan stood up from the ground and prepared himself to fight but found his knees shaking.
He couldn't maintain standing for too long as his lower body gave up, and he falls to the ground because of the excessive blood loss.

Stellan found that the voice was coming from nowhere but his own head.
The voice that sounds like an Artificial Intelligent continues to yap inside his head, when a holographic interface appeared before his eyes.
"What? What is that? Get away from me!!"
Stellan closed his eyes tightly, fearing the unknown that suddenly appeared before him.
He held out his hands trying to protect himself, but he noticed that the interface wasn't doing anything and he could still see it even though he had his eyes closed.

"What the fuck are you talking abo..."
Stellan shuts his mouth when he felt a sudden warmth coursing through his entire body after the voice finished speaking, and he could see light all throughout his body as well.
Feeling his body anew after the light had vanished, Stellan finally able to stand to the ground.
He also noticed that the cuts in his wrist had vanished without a trace, and his energy has been restored.
"What… what kind of sorcery is this?"
[I'm glad you asked.]
Stellan jolted in shock after hearing the voice once again.
[That was one of the many perks for having a system installed inside your entirety.]
"System? Installed in my entirety? How did that happened? I was just in..."
Unable to finish his sentence as he remembers the truck incident.
"Wait, how can you install a system or something inside my body? And who the hell are you?

Stellan felt heaviness in his heart.

Arguing to the voice, Stellan tries to play dumb as he still couldn't accept the new reality that he was in.
Losing someone because of death is one thing, but finding out that you yourself died, was unheard of.

Still in denial, Stellan slaps his face as hard as he could, but eventually cried in pain.
He then looked at his reflection from the pool of blood and contemplates his past life, but realized that he had no other choice other than to accept the fact that Stellan Roosevelt died and was transmigrated in a different world and in a different body.
"What do I do now? I don't even know who you are, so how am I supposed to trust you?"
