Chapter 21 - Chaos #2

"Your friend, he's an earth element user, isn't he?" Willian walked slowly towards Blaze, who was cornered.

"Huh?" Blaze replied weakly.

Willian smiled sinisterly.

"His presence is very important to us. Your friend will die today!"

I was carried and slung over the shoulder of another Viking by force, my mouth bound tightly with cloth, and my feet and hands tied. I could only see where I was being taken, my eyes moving quickly to capture every detail around me. I had arrived in their territory, the gate began to creak open, and I was carried up to their castle. Their castle was vast, with magnificent and beautiful architecture. There were 4 high watchtowers at each end of the gate, with guards standing watch above.

After climbing thousands of steps, I arrived in front of their castle. All the Vikings' eyes were fixed on me, making me feel uncomfortable. I began to feel scared, they descended and began to line up to welcome me.

"What is happening now?!" I asked myself, while trying to understand the situation. I counted clearly from the presence of the Vikings who lined up neatly in front of me. They numbered 8 people, including the one carrying me. However, 1 other, the youngest, just stared at me from inside the castle. His gaze was different from the others, he looked at me like a beam of light illuminating my space.

Suddenly, a bird flew and landed on his shoulder. He began to turn around, taking a blank piece of paper and writing quickly.

"Mr. Murphy, please come and meet me here. Come back, I'm trapped, I'm in a critical situation."

After a while, the bird began to fly out of the window, and soared quickly through the air. I could only watch while hoping someone could save me from this situation.

However, the Viking standing next to me noticed his brother's actions. "Brother Vidar, take care of your brother up there. Make him open his mouth about the action he just took." He nodded, "Alright, Brother Svend." He began to step away from his line and went into the castle.

"Oh, my brothers, the Day of Judgment has arrived. I, Eric Svend, am willing to be a witness to this Judgment. Our little brother, Eric Gunnleif, lost his life at the hands of his own brother, Eric Murphy. This terrible event has violated the Rules and Norms of Viking History, therefore, life for life. However, Murphy's absence can be replaced by the trigger of the problem. This judgment is ready to be carried out today." -HURRAAAAAAAAA.

The sound of loud and piercing cheers from the Vikings who shouted in unison.

"Please, please." The person at the window began to tremble looking at me while reaching out with his hands. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING, ZECO. OPEN THE DOOR." The sound of shouting and breaking down the door from inside.

"What does all this mean?" I said to myself.

"Brother Oddvar, bring him up there." He nodded, "Alright, Brother." He began to step closer to me, and carried me on his shoulder.

"Brother Arne, Kari, please find your brother, Willian in the forest over there." Svend ordered again. They nodded, "Alright, Brother." They turned around, leaving the line and walked out.

"No, no, no. Am I going to be taken up there?" I shouted in my heart. I began to be taken to a high altar. In front of me, I saw a large stone carved with symbols of death. Above it, I saw an altar made of oak wood, with ropes ready to bind the victim. I began to realize that I was going to be taken there.

"NO, NOOOO-" A loud cry from outside the gate. "AAAAA, HOT, HOTTTT." I heard clearly, it was a voice I recognized before. I recognized it, Kari and Arne were moaning and asking for help while trying to get into the gate.
