Perhaps it was because she was too tired from making her dresses in the past few days, or because she and Bruce were too crazy last night.
Anyway, Hilla couldn't get out of bed the next day. Her legs trembled in pain, and she finally gave up getting up and just lay on the bed.
Before Bruce left for work, he helped to rub her leg to ease her pain. Of course, Hilla took his behavior as a form of guilt after "committing a crime". His gentleness to her revealed his guilty conscience.
Bruce's skills were not very good, and he rubbed her harder more than she thought. Shortly, Hilla became angry, kicking him away and pulling the quilt to wrap herself in it.
She turned around and snorted, "Sinners are not worthy of forgiveness!"
Bruce looked at her and felt heartbroken, but he was a little amused by her. He lowered his head and kissed her forehead, blaming himself, "It's my fault. I used too much strength on you last night. Next time, I will be gentler!"
