When Hilla saw Bruce, she subconsciously wanted to turn around and run away.
But quickly she realized it made no sense for her to run away since Bruce had been here.
Besides, she could run but could not hide. Sooner or later, she and Bruce would meet.
She reluctantly took steps forward. When she was a certain distance away from Bruce, she stopped and said in a low voice, "Are you here to see me?"
To prevent herself from thinking too much, Hilla raised her eyebrows and asked first.
Bruce took a look at her clothes and replied, "I just came back from a business trip abroad."
"OK."
Was he telling her that he had rushed over to see her as soon as he got off the plane? Was he showing his sincerity to her? Unfortunately, even if she felt it, she would pretend to be indifferent.
