It was a quiet night. Hilla and Bruce were lying flat on the bed.
Hilla grabbed the quilt nervously. She looked at the ceiling and said, "Bruce, are you okay?"
Hilla felt guilty and timid after she knew that Bruce sustained an erection because of drinking the medicine she had decocted.
Halle gave her the prescription and said it could help build up one's physical strength. But Hilla did not expect that it was actually used to treat impotence.
Bruce was in loose pajamas. His hair was half-dried. The bath did not cool him down. Hearing Hilla's sweet voice, he sat up from the bed and held his forehead. He said to Hilla, "Take me to the bathroom."
"Again? No, it's so cold. You'll catch a cold if you take another shower. If you get sick, your mother will blame me for not taking good care of you."
