Suddenly, something shifted. A low growl echoed from above, followed by a rustling sound that reverberated through the floor. Most of the individuals around him were staring up at the ceiling, their eyes wide with horror. Some were frozen in place, others slowly backing away.
Yeong-hwan, still unaware of the cause, noticed their reactions. He followed their gaze—just in time to see the beasts fall from the ceiling, landing with a deafening crash that shook the room.These Beasts had huge figures with multiple legs and arms along with a horn which was illuminating the surroundings weirdly these beasts didnt have any facial organs Unfortunately for him, he couldn't hear the sounds due to his Hearing on Hold skill, and by the time he realized what was happening, it was almost too late.
He started running in the opposite direction of the beasts. The beasts ran much faster than the trialists. Individuals were getting killed, with each death the pleads and the screams of the trialists getting louder.A Pale young man with a slim figure running in horror next to him was getting chased by the beast when he suddenly tripped on a corpse The young man had lost all hope waiting to be killed when he saw the beast running to him similar to when a cheetah is hunting an antelope,
But suddenly the beast stopped running and changed his direction towards Yeong-hwan
as Yeong-hwan witnessed this something clicked in his brain and he decided to gamble his life by staying still seeing the monster become confused and changing its direction once again
As he stood still, Yeong-hwan tried to make as little sound as possible. While remaining motionless, he used his inspect ability on the beast. The result read 'could be a beast??'

There was nothing he could do about his hearing, since it was passive, but he could upgrade his İnspection skill for better odds of survival. So, he continued analyzing the beasts repeatedly, all while people around him were being slaughtered
After some time, the remaining individuals stopped moving as well, frozen in place. Silence fell over the room, with no one daring to make a sound. Yet, some unlucky few were still dying—perhaps their stomachs growled too loudly, or they couldn't suppress a cough, or their breath betrayed them in the stillness. After all, luck played a significant role in survival.
