Mondy and Arca were already at their school's gate. There wasn't a single security guard in sight.
"I don't think there's any guard here!" Mondy observed, scanning the surroundings.
"Now that I think about it, isn't it weird? Why do schools still have security guards in this gang era? Isn't the world in chaos?" Arca seemed puzzled.
"Come to think of it, you're right! Wait, why am I even thinking about this? Let's just get inside!" Mondy urged.
"How?" Arca asked.
"Are you getting dumber? Just walk in, why make it complicated! You expect me to come up with a plan or something?" Mondy retorted.
From inside the school building, right in front of the gate on the second floor, someone was watching Arca and Mondy hiding behind the bushes by the fence from a window.
"Are those the ones they call the Leaders?"
"Which ones?"
"Those peeking over there! They think they're not obvious? It's broad daylight!"
"Haha, that's hilarious!"
"We don't have any classes because the teachers are in a meeting, right? What are those teachers even doing? The school's still like this!"
"Stop complaining!"
"We go to school so that when we graduate, we can join the Gang Era, not study like this! This is useless for the future!"
"People like you are why our country isn't progressing. In other countries, people are smart, and their technology is advanced!"
"Have you ever been abroad?"
"Well, no! But that's the rumor I heard on social media!"
"You act like you don't know anything. Foreign countries actually have strong delinquents. Our country's delinquents are the weakest, you know!"
"But that's the info I got!"
"What social media are you even on?"
"Ai."
"Huh? You said Ai?!"
"Haha, Ai's not social media!"
One of them looked back out the window. "Enough, you guys! If you want to argue, go run for president or something! Where did those stalkers go?"
Arca and Mondy were hiding under the building, more precisely in the bushes, then they crawled along the walls and slipped inside, but...
*KRINGGGG!!!* The bell signaling the end of the day rang.
Suddenly, all the students of SMA Kembangan Selatan poured out as the school day ended, and they spotted Arca and Mondy.
"Whoa? Who are they? Their uniforms don't look like ours!"
"They're like the intruders the higher-ups were talking about!"
"If that's the case, let's take them down, right?"
"Go for it!!!"
Before they could act, Arca attacked first, leaping toward them.
"Hey, what are you doing, Arca!" Mondy shouted.
"Go! I'll hold them off!" Arca tried to fend them all off so Mondy could escape. "Honestly, I just wanted to fight anyway!"
Mondy bolted, but some of the group that slipped past Arca chased him. The chase was filled with drama. Mondy tried hiding in every possible spot but kept getting spotted. Then he slipped into a classroom, hoping no one would notice.
At that moment, they lost track of Mondy in an instant, frantically searching through classrooms and rooms.
But they couldn't find him and moved on to other areas. "Check the building next door!"
"He disappeared so fast!"
As it turned out, Mondy was hiding under the classroom desks. "Thank goodness they're map-blind!" Mondy sighed in relief.
But he continued searching for the safest hiding spot. He decided to hide in the bushes near the boundary fence. As he walked, he tripped over something. It looked like a bunker. Mondy pressed his ear against it and heard faint voices of people talking, though he couldn't make out the words clearly.
At Arca's location, he was fighting hundreds of students, but with so many opponents, he struggled to move.
"I shouldn't have acted cool and jumped into the middle like that," Arca muttered.
The SMA Kembangan students attacked fiercely. Luckily, Arca could still withstand their blows, just barely.
Arca landed a few kicks here and there, but he couldn't move freely, and his attacks weren't at their full potential.
Someone approached from the gate. "Pretty cool, fighting alone like that!"
It was [ZAY, Leader of SMA Meruya Utara]
He walked with his hands in his pockets.
"How's it going? Need help?" Zay offered to Arca.
"Do whatever you want, help or not!" Arca replied.
Then the SMA Kembangan students charged at Zay.
Zay spun backward, delivering a kick to one of their stomachs.
*WHAM*
The student was sent flying toward Arca, knocking into other SMA Kembangan Selatan students, giving Arca a chance to break free.
"Leader or lackey, you Meruya Selatan folks are all annoying!" Zay taunted.
"Fine, help me then!" Arca said.
Zay then walked forward alone toward the SMA Kembangan Selatan students.
The students there tried attacking Zay all at once.
Zay paused and looked at Arca. "Watch closely, I'll show you how to take down a crowd!" Zay attacked them alone with intense focus.
"Alright then, I'm out!" Arca left Zay to fight on his own.
Mondy, still curious, wanted to go inside but was too scared.
"What's wrong, Mondy?" Arca suddenly appeared behind him.
Startling Mondy, "Don't scare me like that, Arca!" Mondy snapped, though his voice was hushed.
"I'm trying to figure out what's in this bunker. It sounds like someone's inside," Mondy said, pressing his ear to the bunker.
Arca joined in, but pressed his ear against Mondy's instead. "I don't hear anything!" Arca said.
"Don't put your ear on mine, you think we're wired together?" Mondy grumbled.
"You said to listen, but I don't hear anything!" Arca argued.
Mondy sat down. "Then why don't you listen to it yourself directly!" Mondy snapped.
When Mondy opened his eyes, Arca was gone. "What, I'm talking to him, and he just leaves? Wait, where'd he go?" Mondy wondered.
Then Mondy heard voices:
"Hey, who are you?"
"Where'd you come from, buddy!"
"Intruders usually get caught here!"
At that moment, Mondy realized the bunker had been opened.
