[POV: Ruvan]
Once Solenne fell asleep, Thalos and Ruvan decided to reconvene to make plans for the apothecary… and it wasn't going well. They had gone through almost eight iterations of a building blueprint with no success.
"How am I supposed to know what an apothecary looks like?! These didn't even exist when we were in our prime," Ruvan huffed.
Thalos shrugged, "Maybe we should let Solenne make the blueprint."
"I want to surprise her…" Ruvan grumbled. "She shouldn't have to work."
"You're absolutely insufferable," Thalos sighed. "I'm sure Solenne would enjoy having a hand in creating her own workspace, and she's fully capable of doing so."
Ruvan was silent for a while before crumpling the parchment he was sketching on. "You're right. We need to get the funds to build it and hire a crew in the meantime, anyway."
"That would probably be wise, yes," the Beta nodded.
