Once Me and Sebrisha walked into the room, we were immediately greeted by the guy we found in the container waving at us.
"Are you doing alright," I asked as we got closer to him. He doesn't look that wounded though, the only thing I'm noticing is a cast on his leg and a small bandage on his head.
"He should be fine, all he had was a broken leg, a minor concussion, and a stab wound in the back that didn't hit any vital organs so he should be fine and back on his feet within 24 hours," The doctor explained while grabbing some water from the counter then sitting down, she looked exhausted.
"What about all the blood that was on his chest and face," Sebrisha asked.
"That wasn't mine, that was guy who had attacked me, and no I'm not the one who started the fight, so you don't have to fear that you saved a villain," The guy laughed.
"Oh introduction's, my name is Christopher Brown," he said as he sat up from his bed and offered his hand.
"Hello, my name is Nigiel Keth, and her name is Sebrisha Walkens," I said while shaking the man's hand.
"Ha-... has anyone told you that you look evil as all gets out, even your name sounds evil," Christopher laughed as he leaned back in his bed.
"Yeah," I said awkwardly.
I'm sorry that was rude, I wanted to say thank you both for getting to the hospital despite not knowing who I was," Christopher said while looking at his leg.
"it's fine.... so, what kicked your butt this bad for you to have a broken leg and a concussion," Sebrisha asked while asked while taking a chair right beside Christophers bed.
"Based off his story and the wounds, it was most likely a skin runner," The Doctor said while looking at a paper on her clip board.
"Skin runner," I asked.
"A Hostile Creature that shape shifts into a nearby dead person and tries to kill people for food," Sebrisha answered while leaning back on her chair.
"Oh, so how did you end up in the container," I asked Christopher in curiosity.
"I fell here while dropping down in a tree that led down to this cave, I was on my way to deliver a contract to some mercenaries to deal with a flower bud of Eden before I got attacked," Christopher explained while clenching his leg due to him accidently moving it.
"Um... What's a flower bud of Eden," I asked. Once I asked that question the whole room suddenly went silent, then almost everyone looked at me like I was crazy or if I was a real person.
"I'm from out of town," I said while backup a little.
"What type of peaceful town you lived in, I need to live there if the place is that peaceful," Christopher said in confusion and curiosity.
"On God, I might need to book a vacation in that town," The doctor laughed as looked in curiosity.
"Oh, the place.... is somewhere I hope I never have to return to," I answered. It wasn't much of lie though, every minute I'm out here is just proof that leaving that place was the best choice I've ever made.
"Oh.... well, how much time do you guys have to go over some ancient history," Christopher asked as he began to sit back up.
"Well, some higher ups are looking for people to help with the fair outside, so we have all the time in the world," Sebrisha said while sitting up and getting ready to listen.
"Too lazy to help out," The doctor said while having her head resting in her hands.
"Oh yeah," Sebrisha let out with chuckle.
"Alright kids, buckle up, this is going to take a while," Christopher said before pressing a button which turned most of the lights off except the one over him, he then finally began to explain the history of world.
One day in the 21st century a flash of gold light shined as bright as the sun in the middle of Greenland. In its place was the garden of Eden, after people found out it was the garden of Eden people naturally started to travel to Greenland to see what paradise was about. For an entire year Everything was good and happy, until it wasn't. The garden of Eden was not used to or prepared to live in the current century due to earth having so much pollution and radiation. So naturally Eden began to grow sick and Corrupted, so instead of people going into Eden and felling joyful and Happy, they instead feel numb and empty without any emotion. This went on for 3 months until the world decided to nuke Eden for 3 reasons, 1st reason is because no one could leave due to no one having any emotion to leave, 2nd reason is because they couldn't get anyone out of there due to the fact that once you step into Eden it's Influence is immediate, And finally 3rd reason is because Eden was growing, Every month Eden grew 3 yards. The 21st century launched the after the 3rd month, but it didn't work, that's due to the fact that Eden was one of gods first creation's so something like a nuke couldn't destroy it, what happened instead was that Eden completely absorbed the nuke. After it did that, Eden become way more corrupted that the magic that brought Eden there mixed with the nuclear radiation which caused Eden to let off satellite like signals out into the sky. At first nothing happened, but 10 seconds later millions of gold flashes lit up all of the world so much so that you could get earth confused with a star. Eden managed to bring thing's from other timelines from past and future, it brought back the knights, the Vikings, samurai, the cavemen, the dinosaurs, the red coat soldiers, and the mammoths. And from the future side it brought robots, cybernetic enhancement's, plasma rifles, flying ships, and mech suits. After that, the whole world went on a 10-year war due to the confusion until something happened for all of them to unite and come up with a way to coexist, But the Eden had did something else. It was changing the earths nature, things that didn't exist before exists now, like werewolves, vampire, Gorgans, dwarfs, elves, slug ants, Hunting spiders, trolls, magic, pyromancy, faith magic, and dragons, all of these are the results due to the garden of Eden's influence and concentrated radiation that Eden gives off from its flower of Edens. What flower buds of Eden's are, is Garden of Eden seeds that Eden sent off by the wind to different parts of the planet randomly. These seed's sole purpose is to spread Edens influence around the world because Eden can't grow anymore due to growing entirely in Greenland and Greenland is surrounded by water so Eden couldn't grow anymore. And that's the history on the events that has happened 500 years ago.
All the lights were then turned back on which was the equivalent of a flash bang in a crowded room in a bathroom. After my eye's adjusted I looked back and managed to catch Sebrisha grabbing onto one of my antlers on the top of my head, seems like she's examining them.
"So do you have any questions," Christopher asked as he laid back down.
"Yeah, a few, What would happen if a flower bud grew up," I asked.
"Well, a flower bud has 4 fazes, each more dangerous than the last, the first phase is that it has just sprouted , When it first sprouted it starts taking control and mutating all the animals in a 2 mile radius, the way to notice this is if multiple dead animals are dead in an area without any visible wounds," Christopher began as he held up 1 finger.
"Phase 2, is when the flower bud grows into a small tree, once it gets to phase 2 it will start controlling more intelligent animals and people in a 4-mile radius, the way you notice this are if you got a headache randomly, but don't worry it takes 4-7 days for people to be completely controlled," Christopher Explained while now holding up 2 fingers.
"Phase 3, is when the flower bud is at the height of a small hotel, once it gets that big it's then taking control and changing to environment in a 6-mile radius into a perfect environment, which turns all the animals and people in it emotionless and numb if people stay in there long enough," Christopher Explained while holding up 3 fingers.
"And finally phase 4, is when the flower bud finally grows up to the height of Burj Khalifa-," Christopher began.
"2,717 feet tall building," Sebrisha interrupted.
"W- why do you know that" The doctor said while looking at Sebrisha like she's crazy.
"Why shouldn't I know that"
"That building was made before Eden spawned in and you just happily know that"
"When was it a crime to have knowledge about famous structures"
"I mean it isn't but it's just weird that you just happily know that pointless point in history"
"Anyway, once flower buds get that big their influence spreads up to a 10-mile radius," Christopher finished.
"Another question, what happens when the flower bud of Eden fully corrupts you and control you," I asked.
"Eden turns people into the guards while the flower bud grows, it usually takes 10 years for a flower bud to fully grow up so as long as people deal with them quickly everything will be good," Christopher explained, I was going to ask him another question, but I felt Sebrisha grab my horns again.
"Do you have any more questions kid," Christopher said while letting out a yawn.
"No, that's all the question's I had, how about you Sebrisha," I asked.
"Nope, well I hope you recover quickly Mr. Christopher, And thank you Doctor Venessa for your help as well," Sebrisha politely said while heading to the door. I followed right behind her while bowing my head as a sign of respect before I exited the room then quickly caught up with Sebrisha who was looking back at me like I was crazy.
"Did you just bow your head before you exited a room," Sebrisha asked as she was approaching the buildings exit.
"Yeah, why, is that an insult in this place," I responded.
"No, just don't do that again, it's weird"
"Okay, so where are we headed now"
"Back to my room to continue experimenting on the emerald I got washer, It might just be the key to 5 yearlong dream just waiting to be achieved," Sebrisha said, I couldn't see her face due to the mask, but you don't need to her face to know that she was smiling.
