Once the dress was chosen, Lucia led me to the shoe section. Rows of heels, sandals, and flats stretched before me, each one more beautiful than the last. My eyes darted from one pair to another, overwhelmed by the variety. There were sparkling stilettos that looked like something a princess would wear, sleek black pumps that oozed power, and delicate flats adorned with tiny crystals.
Lucia, with her sharp eye for fashion, barely hesitated. She reached for a pair of nude heels with a slender, elegant design. The soft leather gleamed under the bright lights, and the pointed toes gave them a sophisticated touch.
"These will go perfectly with the dress," she said, handing them to me.
I hesitated, eyeing the heels nervously. They looked beautiful, but also dangerously high. I wasn't exactly used to walking in heels, let alone ones this tall. Still, with Lucia watching expectantly, I knew I had no choice but to try.
