The now renovated palace situated in the middle of the forest looked beautiful.
The things that made it look old were all gone, replaced by new decorations.
Small glowing lights illuminated the statues and trees.
Tens of small lamps showing the light over the path leading inside.
Akamir walked down the path as he observed the place.
'It look a lot better now.'
He thought, nodding at how good work Mira had done.
Akamir reached the palace steps, hands tucked in his pockets.
The stone walls had been cleaned and polished, no longer covered in moss or cracked by time.
The trees around the palace swayed gently with the breeze.
At the entrance, Mira stood waiting for him.
She wore a long, dark-blue robe with silver threads along the edges, her hair tied loosely behind her back.
Though her eyes were blindfolded, her face sparkled a little when she saw him.
The judge of apathy bowed deeply as he reached closer.
