Fuinjutsu was an amazing Shinobi art.
Unlike Ninjutsu or Taijutsu, which focused on launching devastating elemental or physical attacks, or Genjutsu, which were designed to manipulate the minds and senses of other living beings, Fuinjutsu had many uses.
You could use Fuinjutsu or Sealing techniques to designate and monitor specific objects or individuals. You could use it to deliver simple massages.
You could craft different types of barrier techniques with unique properties. For example, sound isolation barriers, flame barriers, sensory deception barriers, trapping barriers, offensive barriers, or barriers with special functions, such as space-locking barriers.
Proficient Fuinjutsu users and Seal Masters could use Fuinjutsu to seal or unseal things, including living organisms. They could alter the battlefield according to their will, making it easier to kill their opponents.
Fuinjutsu practitioners could use Sealing Techniques to craft various items, weapons, armors, and specific ninja artifacts.
Heck, it was the same Fuinjutsu that sealed Otsutsuki Kaguya inside the moon,
His stoic and aloof father used Fuinjutsu Seals and his space-time talent to develop a terrifying space-time Ninjutsu that made him a formidable force on the battlefield—Flying Thunder God Technique.
In a nutshell, Fuinjutsu had incredible potential to become one of the pillars of the ninja world.
As long as you had a great foundation in Fuinjutsu runes and runic structures, and you were creative enough, there was virtually nothing you couldn't accomplish using Fuinjutsu.
It was like coding from Seimei's previous world. Sure, it was tough to start learning Fuinjutsu. But as long as you understood the basics and had solid logical reasoning skills, you could learn Fuinjutsu easily.
It was just that most Shinobi prioritized learning more Ninjutsu or offensive ninja techniques meant to crush their opponents with thunderous force.
Still, with a solid grasp of Fuinjutsu and little creativity, the use of Fuinjutsu could turn the tide on the battlefield.
And that was exactly what Seimei did,
One day, Seimei had an idea. As a sensory ninja, he knew that more than 99.8% of all sensor-nins used various chakra field methods to detect enemies or beings with chakra reserves within their effective range.
It was nothing complicated. Just an uncontrollable interaction between a sensor-nin's sensing technique's thinly spread chakra and a living being's chakra.
It was like echolocation of the bats.
Simple. Crude. Undeniably effective.
After all, every living being with chakra would always leak a tiny portion of their chakra from their bodies. The wisps of chakra leaving their bodies were so minuscule that even a powerful ninja standing next to them might not detect the wisps of leaked chakra.
As minuscule as it was, for the majority of sensor-nins with chakra-based echolocation-like sensory techniques, it was always easy to find targets with chakra within their effective sensory chakra fields using that tiny chakra leakage.
So, Seimei thought about developing a special Fuinjutsu seal that could isolate the wisps of leaked chakra of a ninja, making the usual sensory techniques useless.
If he could do it, it would greatly empower Konoha, especially the ANBU's assassination squad.
From that day on, Seimei tinkered with various Fuinjutsu seals. He extracted the isolation rune formations from the sound isolation seals, barrier runic formation of the barrier techniques, and unique chakra restrictive rune formation of the Chakra Suppression Seal.
After countless trials and errors (done by his shadow clones, of course), he finally invented his very own seal—Chakra Isolation Seal.
As long as you didn't cause any commotion or use mid-range Ninjutsu, this seal could hide your chakra signature from enemy ninjas' chakra detection fields.
Although this seal's direct combat use was limited, it had countless tactical advantages that could catch the enemies off guard or infiltrate enemy strongholds without alerting the sensory ninjas.
Just imagine an ANBU ninja carrying the Chakra Isolation Sealing tag to infiltrate the enemy base and silently assassinating the target without alerting the sensor-nins at all.
Or surrounding the enemy camp with a large number of ninjas on a cold, dark, moonless night with a chilling breeze flowing around. The sensors of the enemy camp were relaxed as they couldn't detect shit.
A perfect night for murder.
So, when Seimei learned that Suna ninjas were likely to ambush them on their way to Konoha, and Uzumaki Benitsu decided to send dozens of ANBU and other capable ninjas to trail behind them and launch a counterattack on the ambushers, he immediately handed over several Chakra Isolation Sealing tags.
This tag allowed them to stay hidden underground and avoid detection by the Suna Ambush Squad's sensor ninjas.
The Suna sensor would have no idea that dozens of Konoha ninjas were lurking in the dark and following Seimeis's team from a distance.
After all, the sensor's chakra sensory field never picked up any residue chakra wisps or signatures from the reinforcement squad because of the chakra isolation barrier created by the sealing tag.
And this led the Suna Ambush Squad to their current predicament.
Now, they were surrounded by Seimei's squad and a dozen powerful Konoha ninjas with an Elite Chunin or higher level of combat prowess.
If they had sensed these ninjas earlier, they could have at least retreated.
But now, they were trapped.
And all of this happened because of a simple Fuinjutsu sealing tag.

The Suna ninjas were horrified when they sensed a dozen powerful chakra signatures very close to them.
They didn't ask for any reinforcement. So, of course, this had to be Konoha ninjas coming to aid their enemies. The intelligence was leaked. And now, they were surrounded.
Masaru's mind raced.
An intelligence leak isn't that big of a deal.
It happens all the time.
Plus, these Konoha scums had those blonde mind-reading bastards, making it difficult to truly hide anything from them once they captured or killed our subordinates.
But how did a dozen Shinobi with such intense chakra signatures hide so close to us without leaking even a trace of chakra?
It was as if they had popped into existence.
While Masaru was thinking hard and creating an escape plan, the other Sunagakure ninjas were utterly bewildered.
One of the Suna Jonin couldn't help but ask their sensor-nin with a strained voice full of suppressed anger, "Bastard, didn't you say there was no one nearby? Where did the Konoha reinforcement appear from then?"
Suna sensor-nin, who was equally shocked, quickly composed himself when he heard this.
Then, with a wry smile, he said, "I truly don't know. I didn't sense anyone before at all."
"I don't know how they masked their chakra signatures."
After a few seconds, Masaru asked Senju Haku, "How did you mask the chakra fluctuations of your reinforcement?"
When Seimei heard this, he almost wanted to laugh out loud.
Did they truly think he would tell them? That's tactical intelligence, bro.
I know you're just trying your luck to pry for information.
But do you have to be this direct?
Or are you turning the gears of your brain to formulate an escape strategy?

He said, "How about we both step back and go our separate ways?"
"After all, our numbers are quite similar. If we fight now, both of our teams will suffer heavy blows."
"You wouldn't want to lose your fellow ninjas because of some meaningless fight with no benefit, would you?"
These words made Seimei narrow his eyes.
Cunning bastard!
Unfortunately for you, you have kicked the steel plate this time.
Seimei thought as he exchanged glances with his teammates.
Then, Senju Haku exchanged glances with the Konoha ninjas and ANBU members who came to dismantle these shameless Suna ambushers.
Their eyes showed determination.
Today, they must kill these bastards and avenge their fellow Konoha ninjas who had fallen during the beast riot.
In the next moment, an intense surge of chakra radiated from Senju Haku's body, which caused the ground around him to form cracks and the airflow around his body to turn turbulent.
Suffocating killing intent radiated from him toward the Suna ninjas.
Seeing this, Seimei also unleashed his abundant chakra and reinforced his entire body with potent chakra flow, ready to move out and tear the enemies in front of him apart.

Uchiha Sorata asked instead, "What do you think?"
Hearing this, Masaru's expression suddenly became solemn. He commanded, "All units, prepare for combat."
"Today, we will make these Konoha scum taste the power of us, Sand ninjas."
"We will kill every single one of them."
Senju Haku retorted, "I would like to see you try."
Both parties were fully prepared and ready to clash. The battle could erupt at any moment.
