The thing about life was that it was unpredictable. That unpredictability was what made it worth living. You never knew what waited for you around the next corner. You never knew exactly where your next step would lead.
People just kept moving and were instantly surprised every turn they took. That was life. But being unpredictable also made living very dangerous.
When it came to running her food truck, Ariel had a bit of a predictable routine. In the evenings, once customers had been served, if there was trash lying around the truck, she made sure to pick it up, and dispose of it. Sure, the city clean-up crew would get to it eventually, but she liked the idea of leaving behind as clean an environment as she had found. So Ariel often did that, collecting trash and then crossing the road in order to go to the large dumpster on the other side and threw away the garbage.
