It was the second hour into the shopping trip that Peter had promised her would be just a quick in and out. She was exhausted, and her brother had somehow developed selective hearing, when Ariel had started complaining. She felt that she had every right to be doing so. Peter had tricked her, now she was stuck watching him agonize.
