Suspended with immediate effect.
Hours after Tristan had dropped the bomb on him, Zachariah still could not believe it. How on earth could that be the state of his life. He was an Asher. He could not just be 'suspended'.
But that was not even the worst of it. Had he been just suspended with the letter being emailed to him, or handed by HR. He maybe, just maybe, would have been able to take it. But the way in which Tristan had kicked him out of the company had been humiliating. He had been dragged out, kicking and screaming, blood gushing down his face. He had looked like a regular scoundrel, like he was one of the urchins that Tristan sometimes picked off the streets and gave jobs at the company. His cousin had utterly humiliated him and Zachariah was livid.
