With the drawing in hand, Touka Kirishima went to scout near the CCG headquarters every afternoon after school. With the help of the drawing, Touka Kirishima quickly found her target individuals.
When she returned in the evening, Touka Kirishima would secretly go to Ryuuji's room and share the information she had gathered. The two of them, based on the locations where Mado and Amon Koutarou were certain to appear, decided on the time and place to strike.
After five days of surveillance, on Friday afternoon, Ryuuji once again left Anteiku coffee shop under the pretense of delivering study materials to Touka Kirishima. The two then met at a pre-arranged public restroom. Ryuuji's plainclothes and mask had already been packed into Touka Kirishima's school bag that morning.
They then changed into their respective outfits in the public restroom and began their cleanup operation targeting Mado and Amon Koutarou.
This operation was unrelated to any system mission; it was entirely a personal endeavor by Ryuuji to help Touka Kirishima feel better.
Following Mado and Amon Koutarou, Ryuuji and Touka Kirishima finally chose a secluded area on their way home in the evening, after Mado and Amon Koutarou had finished dinner at a noodle shop. Ryuuji and Touka Kirishima then put on their masks and chose to make their move.
Suddenly, Touka Kirishima's figure flashed in front of Mado and Amon Koutarou.
Faced with someone suddenly appearing and blocking their path, Mado's face involuntarily broke into a mocking smile, while Amon Koutarou immediately became alert and entered a defensive stance.
Mado had already pressed the button on his quinque handle. His commonly used Rinkaku quinque, in the shape of a sword, was now in his hand.
Then, Mado spun around sharply and swung backward.
He then clashed with Ryuuji, who was wearing a fox mask.
It must be said that Mado was indeed an experienced {Ghoul} investigator. He had likely sensed Ryuuji's surprise attack from the very first moment.
Mado saw the fox, who had rescued Mr. Fueguchi that time, attacking from behind, and immediately became agitated, exclaiming, "The fox has reappeared!"
"Amon, engage!"
Mado then signaled immediately.
Although Amon Koutarou hadn't immediately sensed the anomaly behind him, his reaction to the front was not slow at all.
Before Mado could finish speaking, Amon Koutarou had already released his quinque and was entangled with Touka Kirishima.
"Rabbit!"
Facing the full-power burst from Touka Kirishima, even the strong and tall Amon Koutarou found it difficult to cope.
With just one strike, Amon Koutarou was sent flying by Touka Kirishima's Koukaku.
Ryuuji's attacks were also relentless, leaving Mado flustered and struggling to keep up with Ryuuji's speed.
"Amon, {Ghouls} with Koukaku can't sustain prolonged fights. What you need to do now is defend, stall the battle, and counter-attack when this guy's stamina runs out!" Mado, although struggling to keep up with Ryuuji's offensive rhythm, still managed to remind Amon Koutarou.
After exchanging a few blows with Ryuuji, Mado already knew how formidable Ryuuji was. He knew it was impossible for him to disengage and help Amon Koutarou, so he could only pray that Amon Koutarou could hold on.
