Hi everyone, it's Zaelum, the event will start tomorrow! Now I will tell you how to participate on it so you can choose which fanfic you want to be translated!
This time there will be 2 challengers! A Naruto and a Bleach fanfic, both I check them and they both looks promising.
The event consist on 3 rounds of challenges:
1: The Likes Round: If the post gets 100 likes it will earn a point (Both can win that point) (Will start Saturday) (This is in Patreon)
2: The Power Stones Round: If the fanfic gets 1500 Power Stones in Webnovel gets a point! (Both can win that point) (Will start Sunday)
3: The Reviews Round: If the fanfic gets 50 reviews on Webnovel it will get a point! (Both can win that point) (Will start Sunday)
Now what would happen if both reach the 3 points? I will pick both!
The true both are fun so I kinda don't care if both win, hahaha. So if you want, try to make me pick both by doing the event.
Also as bonus... if any of the fics get into the top 10 in Webnovel I will make it a double chapter schedule for that fic!
Anyway, I thought it was going to be fun to do an event where you all get to participate, and if the events its succesful I may do more of them, for more new fics or for currents ones.
Thanks you all for reading this, and I will see you later!
Ciao!
==========
But strangely, no one questioned Natsuki's supposedly low chakra levels—it had somehow become an accepted fact.
When did that happen?
Something felt off.
Sasuke's instincts were right.
In truth, this was all part of Natsuki's deliberate setup. Ever since that first-year match where he surrendered to Sasuke and claimed his chakra wasn't enough, he'd kept up the act in every outdoor class—always showing signs of running low on chakra. Over time, everyone just took it for granted. Now that he'd used a few ninjutsu and even genjutsu, wasn't it "normal" that his chakra ran out?
Besides, he was only seven. Wasn't it natural for him to have low chakra reserves?
As for the fact that he had overwhelmed Sasuke earlier? That was just some clever trickery—nothing worth taking seriously.
"Damn that cocky bastard Sasuke, dattebayo!"
Naruto grumbled as he limped off the field, then thick-skinned as ever, he scurried back toward Sakura. But she kept her eyes on Sasuke the whole time—only Hinata was concerned about Naruto's injuries.
Ah, this tangled mess of emotions—it was enough to give anyone a headache.
Still, with a bag of sunflower seeds, this would make for excellent entertainment.
The rest of the matches weren't much to see. Even when Shino faced off against Kiba, it was a clean win for Shino. Kiba didn't stand a chance and ended up completely deflated.
Oh right—Kiba hadn't even gotten his dog yet. He probably wouldn't start raising Akamaru until he turned nine.
But even if he had his dog, he still wouldn't be a match for Shino.
That, Natsuki was absolutely sure of!
Once the boys' matches wrapped up, it was the girls' turn. First up? The best-friends-turned-rivals battle: Yamanaka Ino vs. Haruno Sakura.
No need to wait for the Chūnin Exams—this was a full-blown hair-pulling war right now. Or… that's what everyone expected.
Instead, the match began with Sakura getting smacked and sent flying. She stayed down for quite a while.
Iruka was instantly alarmed and quickly declared Ino the winner, even preparing to send Sakura to the hospital.
Ino, however, walked over, extended a fair and delicate hand, and said, "C'mon, I didn't hit you that hard. It'll stop hurting soon. But Sakura, you're really weak. A whole year of school and you've barely improved."
Sakura clutched her stomach, but the pain did ease up quickly—Ino had clearly held back.
And something about Ino felt different today. She didn't mock her forehead and even offered a helping hand.
That… wasn't normal.
"Ino-pig, what's gotten into you?" Sakura grumbled, but there was concern in her tone.
"You trying to pick a fight? Get up, Forehead! I'll talk to you later in private—everyone's watching!"
A vein popped on Ino's forehead as she grabbed Sakura and hauled her up. Hand in hand, they walked off the field like nothing had ever happened between them.
Sakura stood in a daze, staring at Ino's hand wrapped around hers, as if it were a dream.
Outdoor class soon ended, and Iruka announced dismissal. The students scattered like birds—they had way more important things to do than stick around.
Natsuki gathered a few friends together. "Shino, Shikamaru, Chōji, Ino—tomorrow's our day off. If you're free, come over to my place. I want your help trying out a game. I'll treat you to lunch as thanks."
Shino and Shikamaru didn't say much but nodded in agreement.
Chōji started drooling. "You're treating again, Natsuki? Heh, I'll come for sure. I'll even skip dinner tonight to save room!"
Ino was intrigued. "What are you treating us to that even this glutton is willing to skip dinner? And wait, shouldn't we be asking what game you want us to play? What's with the mystery?"
Natsuki kept it vague. "Just come—you'll love it. Even if you don't like the game, you'll love my cooking."
Chōji added, "He's right! Natsuki's cooking is amazing!"
That was enough for Ino to agree. She didn't feel like helping at the flower shop on her day off anyway, and she definitely didn't want to go through more of her dad's hellish training. A little break sounded great.
Thinking about the game, she quickly asked, "Can I bring Sakura?"
Sakura blinked in surprise, pointing at herself. She hadn't expected Ino to invite her. Something was seriously up with Ino today.
Naruto immediately butted in. "Nani nani? You're all going to Natsuki's place to play a game? And he's treating?! Sakura and everyone else is going—I can come too, right? Natsuki, Natsuki, I can come too, right?!"
Natsuki hesitated—he couldn't say no outright. Then again, this was a great chance to promote his card game, get close to this group of future monsters, and introduce Tenten to everyone. So he nodded.
"Fine, fine. Sakura, Naruto, Kiba, Hinata—you can all come. Sasuke, you coming to my place tomorrow morning?"
"Your place?" Sasuke instinctively wanted to decline… but he couldn't shake the feeling that something was off about Natsuki. He wanted to find out more.
"…Alright. I'll check it out."
Sakura's face instantly lit up when she heard Sasuke was coming. Naruto, meanwhile, looked like he'd just swallowed a bitter bug.
Natsuki didn't care. After giving them the directions to his place, he went home ahead of them to plan the shopping list with Tenten. After all, two big eaters would be showing up tomorrow.
The next morning, Natsuki headed to the market to do the grocery shopping, leaving Tenten at home.
The little powerhouses met at the school gate, then followed Shino as he led them to Natsuki's house. Along the way, they were full of guesses about what kind of game Natsuki had in mind—and curious about what his house looked like.
Before long, they arrived at the gate. Shino knocked.
"Coming!"
A girl's voice answered, catching everyone off guard. Then the door opened to reveal a cute girl with twin buns, wearing an apron—it was clear she'd been busy inside.
Shino gave a nod. "Tenten, I brought everyone."
Ino beamed. "Tenten! I didn't expect you to be home. Where's Natsuki?"
Tenten smiled and welcomed everyone in. "Natsuki went out shopping. He said there'd be two big eaters, so he wanted to buy extra to make sure everyone's well-fed. Come in and sit! I'll introduce you all to the card game Natsuki made. I'm sure you'll love it."
As she spoke, she deftly poured drinks for everyone.
Aside from Shino and Ino, everyone else was quietly studying Tenten, wondering whether she was Natsuki's little sister… or maybe older sister?
Naruto couldn't help but ask, "Uhh, so this bun-head is…?"
Ino proudly and dramatically announced, "Ahem! The adorable girl standing before you with twin buns is Tenten—she's a year above us and Natsuki's girlfriend!"
So she was his girlfriend… wait, what?!
"NA-NI?! Natsuki's girlfriend?! He already has a girlfriend?!"
Everyone's eyes widened. Total shock. Mind. Blown.
