Bonnie was pulled into the villa, her steps unsteady. As soon as they entered, Derek pinned her gently against the door.
His gaze darkened as he looked down at her, his voice low and magnetic. "You want me to deal with you, huh?"
Bonnie blinked innocently. "Some people clearly ignore their girlfriends, leave them all alone at a press conference, and now they think they can lecture me? Is that how you treat your girlfriend?"
Derek studied her face for a few seconds, then nodded slightly.
His hand loosened at her waist. His black eyes fixed on her as he undid his suit jacket and tossed it aside.
The cool night air brushed against them. Before she could react, he murmured, "It was my fault. I'm sorry."
He leaned in closer, his tone softer, slower. "Forgive me, hmm?"
Bonnie's expression softened. "That's better. But next time, I might not forgive you so easily."
Derek smiled faintly, a dangerous warmth flickering in his eyes. "Alright."
