Frank Brown curled his lips smugly, leaning down slightly to look at her. "What's the matter? Jealous?"
Bonnie said nothing.
Frank straightened up, his eyes sweeping across her beautiful face. "Let's hope you've actually got some skills, Miss Wesley, and not just a pretty face with no substance. Otherwise, going up against you would be boring."
With that, he turned and walked away.
As soon as he left, the young screenwriters around Bonnie grew restless.
"Is GrandVision really about to secure that top-tier script?"
"We're screwed. We're totally screwed this year."
They all looked at Bonnie anxiously. "Miss Wesley, what are we going to do?"
It looked like they were about to be utterly humiliated by GrandVision this year.
Bonnie was silent for a few seconds, then lowered her eyes and sighed. "Mr.Brown is truly impressive. Snagging such a high-level script, what a feat. Looks like we're done for."
