Chapter 11 - Chapter 10: Biboo Tax/Executioner?

-"Biboo please.. Stop it.. I can't take it anymore. My mind is dissipating...!"

The pained cry of Kronii as her mind was reeling from this interaction only intensified the voice of Koseki Bijou, who was currently singing her heart out in a collaboration stream with a few fellow members of HoloLiveEN and a couple from HoloLiveJP and HoloLiveID.

-"No~ Houshou Marine-Senpai likes it!"

-"Hai hai! I do! Keep at it Biboo-Chan! Hahahahaha!"

Reveling in the pain of her dear juniors, Marine laughed diabolically like the devilish woman she is, her chatters chanting Bijou's name like a cult.

-"Biboo, if you say the words one more time I'm making you a piece of road gravel." Kronii warned, her fingers about to eviscerate the mouse in her hand if she hears it again.

-"Nooo Biboo keep going! Don't you... AAha..AhHAHA- Don't you dare stop!" Hakos Baelz, ever the lover of chaos, urges Biboo to keep singing and get to the torturous chorus once more.

-"Okayy!!"

-"DON'T IGNORE ME! BIBOOO!!"

Everyone was laughing except Kronii, even the Time Warden's own chat was enjoying her despair. Mocking her cries of agony.

'She's so pissed off! Never end this!'

'Careful Biboo! She might stop time and teleport inside your house! Ahahahah!'

'BOAT GOES BINTED'

And then Bijou gave up.

-"Man.. I'm tired.."

-"NOOOO!!!" Baelz shouted.

-"YESSSS!!" Kronii exasperatedly exclaimed.

-"Biboo, is your throat okay? Go drink some water." Fauna said with her caring tone.

-"Aw man, that was fun." Marine sighed a bit disappointed.

-"Gigi,Cecilia, can you two stop-" Ollie's voice was cut off by Bijou.

-"SIKE!"

That sike sent a tremor of attention through everyone.

"It's MC Biboo here, and this is the game I play!

Sticking out your gyatt for Nerizzler!

You're so Bau Bau!

I just want to be Your Shiori!

You're so Biboo tax!"

Kronii crashed out very harshly that day.

------{Jude's POV}------

-"I need to choose a debut song?

What?"

-"You heard it right. It's customary to enter HoloCorp with a song to debut with."

-"What Altare said."

That was trouble. Big trouble.

I cannot even hold a normal conversation, now they want me to sing? Why?

Mr. Yagoo said I have to come up with my own way so if I skip out I'm sure it'll be fine.

But it seemed Shinri and Flayon had things to say to me. I could see the looks on their faces that spoke in loud clear words.

-"Iudex. It's how you're inducted. It's a tradition. I think everyone would much rather prefer you didn't break it, you're already a standout as it is being in your own branch, you can't just.. y'know, do that."

-"No hard feelings, Iudex, we're not saying this out of jealousy. All we want is for you to continue upholding sacred tradition."

-"Ho-ly you guys yap alot! Any more words and lil' bro is going to faint! Chill. You can tell he's not too happy about this."

-"Shinri and Flayon are right."

-"You heard bossman."

This isn't going well. The only two that seem to have any sympathy for my prone self are Axel and Gavis. And even then they're trying to give me leeway for now.

"But ultimately, it's your choice.

Tradition exists to break, it's a thing that we ourselves did."

-"You heard bossman."

Gavis said mimicking what Flayon had said, which lead to the two bickering over that, it was a bit distracting from what this grave situation at hand is.

-"I won't say anything on this matter because it's far too out of my hands, but, Iudex, if you feel like you'd fail, remember that a debut isn't something you do to perfect.

Your debut is just to show what would constitute your fanbase that you care enough to satisfy their needs."

Axel..

-"Perfectly said, Axel.

It's YOUR way to show YOUR fans, there or not, how you plan to care for them.

Imagine yourself writing an essay about yourself.

How would you express your own emotions, thoughts, and so on.

Now reroute your own emotions to how you would portray it to a group of loyal fans."

They made perfect points. That made things much much easier.

I just had to choose my own way, the right way.

The confliction here is..

"Of course, you have to actually resemble your own character..

So you'd have to think in a 3rd person perspective aswell."

Then it all clicked like a race starting.

An almost infinite amount of thoughts just racing in one moment.

I had it. The perfect debut.

My debut.

-"I already know what I'm going to do if that's the case.

Say, Altare, anyone ever debuted with a cover?"

My plan was simple.

My go to music genre was Hip-Hop.

I can't sing. So I'll just rap. Rap my heart out.

What rapping lacks in the voice requirement I can compensate with covering a song.

It just has to be catchy.

Altare responded with a scratch on his cheek, confused.

-"I don't remember fully but it's not out of the question. A good song is a good song no matter the origin."

Now that this was my motivation, I was basically ready.

I can cover a song. Now I just have to choose it.

And.. The other things I need to do.

-"Alright, I'll be back in a while.

I need to get my phone and submit some stuff."

-"Pause. You already know what to do? You can't be this fast."

-"Resume. What do you take me for? I think really fast. Even if it's wrong."

-"Maybe that's why you should.."

Altare's words trailed off as he sighed, and I left to re-enter the dungeon again.

I was sort of glad they didn't comment on my left eye, perhaps they thought it wasn't weird enough to call out or anything like that. And maybe that was the truth I need to get used to. The colors meant nothing.

-"Chilly huh.."

I put my hands into my pockets as I walked, thinking deeply. All the puzzle pieces were falling together.

"..Iudex debut..

Iudex..

Iudex meaning judge..

Jury would be a good fan name..

Greeting.. Hm.."

The delicate details of the debut are the hardest to get through. Because I'll have to use them for several years on end semi-daily.

"If I'm going to do it court styled, might aswell be 'All rise'.

And my goodbye could be 'Dismissed'?"

That seemed like the most logical and appealing option.

The viewers could call me "Your Honor" for the first message or something.

-"Everyone to your rooms! No one in the hallways!"

-"Hm-"

And.. My stupidity had lead me to not notice the emergency alarms blaring.

Now I'm staring at my own death.

This is getting tiring.

-"IUDEX!"

I think I'm seeing flashbacks. Everything is moving slower than a snail.

Already dead? Seriously.

The encroaching red trident was going to impale my head into a wall, it was moving so fast yet so slow because of my near-death moment.

This all happened because I didn't pay attention when on the road, simple rules taught for children came back to bite me. Only this is for keep your attention on the HoloRoad.

CLANG!

I think my eardrums just ruptured, the very loud metallic sound of clashing steel just deafened me for life.

"What the hell are you standing there for? Run run! HURRY!"

So I was getting scolded by the blue haired woman. Who appeared out of nowhere. My fabric of time itself seemed to warp as she appeared, guess she's a teleporter huh.

As I was still standing there like a deer caught in headlights, the red trident holding girl came at me again, thrusting her trident forward.

Blue-hair seemed to teleport again, but something was off, she was very hesitant.

If this is an enemy why is she holding back?

Do they want me dead?

-"Back to the dead, judge!" The contempt in her voice wasn't unheard. But I don't know what I did, have I met her before?

The trident reached my face once more, but a commanding smack crackled before I heard a wall being caved in.

"OOF-"

-"Huh?!"

I looked at the larger than life gavel that had collided with shark tail girl, her body glued to the broken wall as the gavel faded to dust.

"Gura!"

The blue-hair phased through space as if it were nothing and manifested herself beside the barely conscious girl.

"What the fuck was that?! You could have killed her!"

I'm being blamed now?!

-"I do not know how that even managed to appear. Where in the world did I even get an ability to slap people around with a mega gavel?"

Blue-hair was gritting her teeth as she held the shark-tail girl, Gura, up.

Her red color seemed to fade back into blue and white as she slipped to dark.

-"She got lucky and there was no evident damage on her.. Thank your gods nothing happened to her."

A million footsteps hurried to us, and if worry had a fragrance to it, I'd be overdosed on it.
