Multiple sages and armed militants swarmed the car moving quickly from the shadows to reveal themselves armed.
Danso quickly jumped from the car along with everyone else, opened the trunk and cut the ties that restrained Hiroshi. Hiroshi instinctively recognized the soul energy leaking from Xeno and quickly jumped on top of the car and scanned the surroundings.
Multiple sages from Indus and Xeno in the form of an old hag surrounded them.
"Elemental Magic:- Lightning Spear," said Hiroshi as his hand started to radiate blue light as he lunged towards Xeno.
"Sorcery of the Soul of a Doctor:- Chant of Amplification," said Natsuki as a green chakra appeared on her hands as she slammed it down to the ground and it covered the space where her allies stood.
Chant of Amplification is an attack that boosts everyone who is touched by the green chakra that Natsuki releases. Yet, this much precision to the point where she can choose who gets the green chakra was only possible due to her Third Stage Sorcery Ascension.
Multiple sages chanted a few sacred words in Ancient Indiese and quickly multiple golden hands appeared from chakras in the sky and held Hiroshi's hand before he could completely lunge at Xeno.
"Sorcery of Fire:- Flame Wheel," said Danso as his sword started to heat up and flames started to emerge from its metal core.
"Huh? Sorcery?" wondered Hiroshi as he was confused since Danso had a Sword Art.
Danso spun in a circular shape and quickly slashed all the golden hands that restrained Hiroshi.
"Sorcery of Shapeshifting:- Body Anomaly," said Ozamu as his body started to glitch and switch into multiple different objects at the same time.
A sage threw a magic spell onto Takahashimi who was still recovering from the fight in the Alkanium Soul Beast Cage and Ozamu quickly deflected the spell with his new Alkanium arm and then he quickly shapeshifted his fingers into chainsaws and he cut down multiple sages.
Emily used her Playbox ability and placed across the surroundings of the forest they were in and quickly started raining down beams and bombs of pink soul energy. Haruki summoned Illuder who further changed the surroundings, confusing all the different sages in the surroundings.
"Two-Horned Transformation,"
Tensei entered the fray with his magnificent scaly transformation as his body looked like a blue ignired and he quickly pressurized into a ball and then made the unstable ball explode onto a horde of sages. He then went and clawed on and threw multiple sages.
Hiroshi and Danso decided to focus on Xeno while the others would focus on the hordes of Second Stage Enlightenment Sages rushing from the shadows.
"Sorcery of War:- Weapon Enhancement," said Nicole whose metallic spikey bat started to pick up soul energy.
She jumped and slammed the bat onto the ground causing multiple shockwaves and tremors that defeated multiple sages.
"When did you have Sorcery?" asked Hiroshi.
Suddenly the old hag who was Xeno started to run into a random trail in the forest. Danso and Hiroshi chased after him and Danso ignored Hiroshi's question.
Suddenly their bodies became frozen as if they could not move.
"You see Danso you're an anomaly I can't have you running about and ruining my plans right? And you…Suzumi's prized possession I can't have you running around as well now can I?" Xeno asked, laughing.
Danso and Hiroshi grunted and tried to escape but their soul energy seemed to have been forcefully suppressed and their physical body held against their own will.
"You see kids, Northguard City is destroyed. All of it is in ruins now. I lured everyone to the city as a game where everyone fights each other to the death in the city," explained Xeno.
"What? Huh?" yelled Hiroshi.
"Calm down ninja, multiple revived sorcerers and users of soul energy all across time have been revived with my ability and are running wild in that city,"
Xeno's ring shined for a second and Danso glanced at it.
"Ah, your friends have just been teleported there by Siddarth Ramakrisha," said Xeno.
Old Era Final Year.
"Oh deity please help me," said Xeno.
His surroundings were all in ash with ruined buildings and destroyed bodies everywhere as he grieved the death of his wife bleeding into his hands as her eyes were closed.
Then a voice shattered the skies and came down to Earth in the form of a shadow. This shadow had wings and horns but it was not fully visualised.
"What help do you require," said the shadow in a growling voice that extended which made it seem tired and caged up.
"Help me kill Xu for everything he took from me," said Xeno as he gazed at the fire and the blood that was covered everywhere.
"I will help you out of my kindness! Yet I need a favor," said the shadow.
"Thank you, Thank you, I will do anything for you my lord" said Xeno, crawling in tears towards the Shadow.
"Free me," said the Shadow.
The Gravity Core is the prison for 'Him' and once supplied with enough soul energy will shatter the core destroying Northguard City and the world will be plunged into an infinite night with 'His' re-awakening.
Back in the present.
"What did you do to them?" screamed Danso struggling and trying to move.
Suddenly a massive blast and a gush of soul energy was felt by them all as Xeno started to genuinely smirk wider.
"Looks like Chiro Zanami finally met someone as strong as him," said Xeno.
"Chiro? He will kill you for sure this time," stated Danso.
"First tell him to focus on defeating Azer and then he will come to me only," laughed Xeno.
"Wrap up whatever you're doing with us, this is annoying and pissing me off," spat Hiroshi.
"Ah right this would be quite unfortunate if anyone came to disturb us," thought Xeno out loud.
"Well then I shall see you and you after a thousand years or so," pointed Xeno at Hiroshi and Danso before a sudden pocket in space sucked them up and quickly closed before them.
Meanwhile,
"Where are we?" asked Haruki as he pondered about his surroundings.
With him there was Tensei, who dusted his clothes off and stood up.
"All I remember was Siddarth Ramakrishna showing up and then everyone disappearing one by one and teleporting here," said Tensei as he looked around.
Their surroundings looked like a warzone with buildings destroyed, rubble and ash everywhere and it looked like this colony of sorts got flattened by an unstoppable force.
"Are we in Northguard City," asked Haruki standing beside Tensei.
"Welcome to Northguard City, new entrees," said a voice from the sky.
"Who are you?" beckoned Tensei screaming at the clouds.
"In the city everyone is hostile and the only way to escape is by killing everyone else designated in your specified colony," said the voice.
"What? Killing everyone?" thought Haruki as he looked at Tensei for a brief instance.
"By killing people you get souls. If you manage to get fifty souls then you are granted a wish. Anything it might be, it will come to you," said the voice.
"So it's like a video game," thought Tensei.
"I wonder where the others are stationed now," said Haruki.
"That being said, regeneration of the body as soon as the person died so they could be revived afterwards will not be counted as a soul and multiple 'Xeno' avatars are roaming this land which will count as ⅕ soul and multiple revived sorcerers and fighters which are dangerous and to be treated as other players as well,"
