Vlad looked at her calmly, his eyes steady and unreadable. After a moment of silence, he spoke quietly,
"Even if I don't know how you did it, I know one thing. You are behind this."
Raya's heart stopped.
"So I cannot stay behind and pretend nothing is happening," he continued. "To some extent, I share responsibility for this."
He turned and walked toward the door.
Raya's eyes widened in disbelief.
When she had thought of harming Ivy and Silas, she had never imagined her own brother would willingly step onto the battlefield.
What made her even more surprised was... her brother knew... he knew that she was one who had brought this chaos.
'If he knows... then why didn't he stop me... was he so disappointed that he didn't even think of stopping me?' Raya's heart sank.
Everything was spiraling far beyond her control.
