With that, he turned around and left. Soon, he returned to the apartment and saw that Ivy was still sleeping.
His heart, which was burning with rage, suddenly calmed down. Pulling a chair near the bed, he sat down and stared at her beautiful face.
Peaceful. Innocent and… different from the one he had seen in the dream. There was no agony, panic, or fear, just… peace.
When Ivy opened her eyes, she realized that it was 10 am. Her eyes widened in surprise. Though she didn't have any sleeping disorder, she had hardly ever slept so soundly.
No nightmare, no dreams. Just a peaceful dreamless night.
After stretching her muscles, she got out of bed and took a shower in her space before emerging from the room. Silas wasn't present; however, her breakfast was lying on the table.
Knowing that Silas was around, Ivy smiled sweetly and looked at the breakfast with an excited expression,
"My hubby is the best."
