They all paused. 'Who did that?' Jamie bravely went to the beast and saw that it was really unconcious.
" It seems to have been put to sleep". He said
" You mean dead?" One of the guards asked hopefully.
" Tyrants don't die." Jamie replied
The tyrant beast suddenly jolted from its short nap. It growled standing up immediately but it looked unstable
" Whoever did this isn't so good at keeping it down." This time King Phillip ran in on the action and Eric followed
With energy formed as ropes they both ran round the tyrant with inhuman speed. The tyrant roared again it was disturbing but not keeping them from tying it still. Just when it was about to use it eyes again.
Jamie caught on and leaped to the front of its face. He closed his eyes to avoid contact with the beast or he would be gone but he used his powers to sense the magic about to extract out of the beast and stabbed there with all his might
The tyrant cried out in pain. Jamie successfully jumped down.
Gilbert used his powers trying his best to keep it down.
" Jamie take over." Phillip shouted and in no time Jamie was by his side taking the energy like rope from him. Zach also took the energy rope from his father too
Phillip and Eric positioned themselves each one different side of the tyrant opposite themselves. With a strong amount of energy they harnessed to circulate the tyrant then they both slit their hands with the their magic and used their blood to seal the barrier up tight
It was hard it refused to be kept down. A slight crack appeared and Phillip and Eric were forced to use more than half of their powers before it became solid.
Just when they were done Jamie and Zach let the energy rope disappear from their hands
The tyrant screamed and roared loudly but it was behind the barrier and couldn't get out. It wasn't an ordinary barrier. It belonged to the royals -- not just any royals but two of the most powerful people in all of Athreaze...for now.
" Who the hell let that thing out!" Phillip shouted immediately he was certain they were out of danger...for now. The barrier wouldn't hold long, why the hell had he considered having a tyrant pet? He even sent Damian to get another one!
Kathy and her maids were already in the carriage though why all the guards were busy trying to subdue the tyrant they moved quickly getting into the carriage.
Darla was already in there waiting for them.
She couldn't believe this was the princess plan, she couldn't have guessed so all those questions about tyrant and stuff was because she had planned on releasing it.
" What the hell Kathy are you mad! Do you have any idea what you have done?" She and Kathy had gotten close over the weeks so they were casual with each other
" I had no choice." Kathy replied the carriage started moving
" How in the blazes did you pull that off. How?" She still couldn't believe it
" It was luck I guess." Kathy said but Darla knew better. It was a tyrant for crying out sake
" Luck!"
" Darla please I don't want to talk about it." Kathy said. Her maids only looked at her saying nothing
The princess had endangered the whole castle or perhaps kingdom just to escape. She wasn't that keen in escaping when her husband was around. They wonder why she made this desperate move just to escape
The carriage suddenly came to a halt.
Kathy inhaled she should have known it wouldn't be this easy. She looked out to see someone who startled her.
The woman looked like the one in the dungeon. The one the king had ordered to kill her
" Now now little mice. Don't think because the kingdom is in jeopardy you can just waltz out of here like it's no body's business." Lilith smiled she had been surprised the princess had used the chaos to her advantage to flee the place
The carriage being here and all the stuff she had seen them take into the carriage tells her that they were prepared. Were they just waiting for something like this to happen or were they aware this would happen.
Her maids were surprised they were sure they were outta here who was this woman and why did the princess looked like she knew her.
Darla was more shocked than all five of them. Lilith was alive!
" I guess it's time I fulfilled my mission." She brought out two blades. Kathy eyes widened
" We need to get out now." She said but her maids could already assess the situation already. They all got down
" Lilith?" Darla said still surprised
" I don't know who you are but seeing you know who I am I guess I'll have to kill you too." Lilith smiled and with lightning speed she charged towards them
Darla quickly blocked her and before she knew it they were both engaged in a deadly battle where it was clear one of them would leave alive
The two women were skilled Kathy could see that. With their speed and power and all. She sure as hell wasn't joining the battle
" Kathy run away I'll handle her!" Darla shouted but Lilith didn't seem to like the idea very much using her magic wrapping it on one of her sword blades she split the carriage into two.
" Run!" Darla screamed
Kathy and her maids didn't need to be told twice but Lilith still found ways to blast her magic towards them they ducked trying to avoid it causing them to run in different directions.
" You little..." Lilith said in frustration as she saw that they had all run in different direction
" You'll have to go through me first." Darla said as she brought out her small knife that Collin gave to her .
" Do you really think you can defeat me?" Lilith scoffed
" We'll have to find out then shall we."
Something about her felt familiar Lilith couldn't shake the feeling. She couldn't remember her but the way she fights was familiar and it wasn't ordinary. It's as if she was trained very well
She was good defeating her wasn't going to be easy, but Lilith had something up her sleeve
Kathy ran away as far as she could, despite the late hour the kingdom was unusually loud. Everyone seemed to be wondering what was going on in the palace she noticed guards started appearing assuring the people all was well and making sure there wasn't any more threat.
She did her best to avoid them. She slipped into a narrow quiet street
Just the few minutes she was there Kathy felt a familiar presence that caused her to pause. Her heart quickened
" You've got some nerve don't you little cat, making a deal with me and trying to escape from this place." His voice filled the quiet little street.
