His sword cut deep into the boar's side, sending it crashing to the ground.
It squealed in pain as blood flowed out of the wound on its flank.
"Die!"
Its cries were cut short as Kev cut into its neck with a fierce swing of his sword. He swung it so powerfully, it cleaved through it. The head was separated from its body as red boar blood splashed all over the ground.
"That's what you get for underestimating others," Kev said while looking at the corpse coldly.
Carrying the boar, he returned to the group.
Seeing the boar in Kev's hands, Sidhu said in glee,
"Looks like our dinner for today is secured."
A while later, they began to search for a shelter where they could spend the night.
It needed to be big enough to fit them all and discreet enough to be a good hiding spot from the mayhem that would start at night.
As new arrivals, Kev and the others wanted no part of it, so they moved hurriedly through the trees.
The trees were a lush shade of purple and pretty tall.
