Chapter 243 - Chapter 243: Getting Clothes for Ada

"Your two maids woke me up when they got out of bed, and I couldn't fall back asleep." Ada said, though there wasn't a trace of complaint on her face.

"So?"

"So..."

Ada suddenly flipped over and straddled him, grabbed his hand, and made him wrap his arms around her neck before continuing, "So, why don't we take this opportunity to do some morning exercises?"

Aiden understood exactly what she meant. Without hesitation, he deftly untied the cheongsam ribbon fastened at the back of Ada's neck.

And this time, no one disturbed them anymore.

Half an hour later, the wind ceased and the rain calmed, restoring silence to the room.

Ada, breathing lightly, brushed the sweat-drenched strands of hair sticking to her cheeks behind her ears before pressing herself contentedly against Aiden's chest, quietly listening to his heartbeat and savoring the tranquility of the moment.

"Aiden, when will you take me to meet your parents?"

After a while, Ada looked up at Aiden and asked the one thing she most wanted to know. She hadn't forgotten Roberta's smug expression back in the village.

"In a few days. For now, you should rest well. Plus, I need to prepare some things for you-clothes, cosmetics, and the like." Aiden stroked Ada's hair as he spoke.

Unlike the others, Ada had arrived with nothing but a few guns for self-defense. Tifa and Aerith, for example, had brought plenty of belongings with them, while Ada didn't even have a change of clothes.

"Alright then." Ada knew she was being too impatient, but she couldn't help it. Roberta's triumphant expression had stuck in her mind, leaving her resentful.

After lingering on Aiden for a while longer, Ada finally decided to get up.

It wasn't because someone was urging them -dawn had just broken, and aside from the homunculi and Roberta's group, most of the household was still asleep. It was just that after exercising with Aiden, she was drenched in sweat, and the sticky sensation was unbearable.

Though she was a specially trained corporate spy, she was still a woman at heart, and cleanliness was second nature.

"I'm going to take a shower. Want to join me?"

Since everyone in the house besides Aiden was female, Ada simply slipped into her underwear before smiling at him suggestively.

To say he wasn't tempted would be a lie, but Aiden glanced at the clothes Ada had tossed on the floor and shook his head. "I should go find you some clothes first."

"Fine then." Ada felt a little disappointed but could only nod in agreement.

Leading Ada out of the bedroom, Aiden pointed toward the bathroom before turning toward Scarlet's room.

Though several women in the house had figures similar to Ada's, the only one with a comparable fashion sense was Scarlet. He remembered that a few days ago, while shopping with her, she had bought several sets of different-styled office attire.

Wearing formal wear at home wasn't exactly appropriate, but Aiden just wanted to see Ada in a business suit-partly out of curiosity, partly to satisfy his peculiar tastes.

Scarlet's room was just a few steps away, but before entering, Aiden took a detour to peek into the kitchen. Roberta and Fabiola were nowhere to be seen-probably out grocery shopping.

Then he glanced toward the living room. The homunculi, who had to sleep there due to lack of space, were already awake. When they noticed him looking their way, they quickly asked if he needed anything.

"It's nothing. Go back to resting." Aiden waved guiltily, thinking he should call the renovation company again to check on the villa's progress.

With that in mind, he entered Scarlet's room.

Of course, Scarlet shared the room with Roberta and Fabiola, but since the maids were out, she was alone now.

When he walked in, Scarlet was sprawled on the bed, fast asleep. Aiden hadn't planned to disturb her, but her sleeping posture was terrible-her thigh-length silk nightgown had ridden up to her waist, revealing her snow-white curves wrapped in black lace panties. The semi-transparent fabric hid nothing, leaving the view entirely exposed.

Unable to resist, Aiden reached out and gave her backside a light smack.

Then he turned toward Scarlet's closet to search for the clothes he wanted.

But the moment he opened the wardrobe, he heard Scarlet's sultry voice behind him, "Darling, don't just pat me once and stop. Don't you want to do something even more outrageous to me?"

Aiden turned to see Scarlet kneeling on the bed, gazing at him with a seductive smile. The strap of her nightgown had slipped off her right shoulder, exposing a generous expanse of fair skin and the curve of one full breast.

"Uh..."

Aiden had only come to fetch a change of clothes for Ada. Smacking Scarlet's rear had been an impulsive act.

But faced with such temptation, he hesitated only briefly before walking to the door and shutting it firmly.

After all, women took their time showering-even Ada. So as long as he was quick...

———

Even at top speed, it still took over ten minutes to finish. Clutching the clothes Scarlet had given him, Aiden headed to the bathroom door.

No sound of running water came from inside-Ada must have finished long ago.

Feeling slightly guilty, he knocked.

"Ada, open up. I brought you clothes."

"Why so polite in your own home? The door's unlocked-just come in, Aiden." Ada's voice carried a teasing lilt.

Aiden thought about it and decided she was right, so he pushed the door open and stepped inside.

Inside, Ada stood naked by the sink. When she saw him enter, she struck a bold, hands-on-hips pose. Then her nose twitched-despite the strong scent of shower gel. She caught a whiff of another woman's fragrance on him.

"I should've made you shower with me. You couldn't even last fifteen minutes without giving in." Ada snorted.

Aiden chuckled awkwardly but didn't reply, his gaze firmly locked onto Ada's body, unable to look away.

Fortunately, having already indulged twice that morning, reason prevailed over desire. He handed her the clothes.

Ada took them and glanced at them, her eyes flickering with surprise before she smiled. "Office wear, huh? But it's missing something."

"What?" Aiden was puzzled.

"Stockings, dummy. A business suit looks awful without them." Ada rolled her eyes before shoving Aiden out of the bathroom.

A short while later, Ada emerged, fully dressed.

By now, most of the women in the house were awake, and Roberta and Fabiola had returned from shopping. Their expressions varied as they took in Ada's professional attire beside Aiden.

"Are you Sister Ada?" Aerith approached, studying Ada curiously. Aiden had mentioned her name before.

"You must be Aerith. Nice to meet you." Having been briefed about the household beforehand, Ada smiled and extended her hand toward the radiant blonde.

With another person added to the household, the already cramped home felt even more crowded. The moment breakfast ended, Aiden rushed out the door-he needed to check on the villa's renovation progress.

Though only about ten days had passed since purchasing the villa and hiring the renovation company, the property had come partially furnished. The contractors were only making minor adjustments to certain sections, which shouldn't have taken long.

This time, aside from Ada, Scarlet accompanied him outside. Since she had been the one to finalize the purchase and décor choices, Tifa and Aerith-who had also wanted to join-were left displeased.

Before leaving, Aiden had to placate them with a slew of promises before they brightened up.

Once outside, Aiden led Ada and Scarlet straight to the underground garage. A few days prior, he had ordered several business vehicles from a dealership. With so many women in the house, multipurpose cars were more practical.

However, the dealership didn't have enough in stock and had to arrange transfers. Plus, their current apartment's parking space was limited, so only one vehicle had been delivered so far. Still, it was better than relying on taxis every time they went out.

Ada was new here, and Scarlet wasn't familiar with the city either, so Aiden took the wheel. Surprisingly, neither woman fought over the front passenger seat, instead settling amicably into the second row together.

As the car pulled out of the neighborhood, Ada struck up a conversation with Scarlet. Most of it consisted of Ada asking questions while Scarlet answered.

For some reason, though, Scarlet was unusually deferential toward Ada-even more so than she was with Roberta. She replied to every inquiry without hesitation, as if aware of Ada's unique place in Aiden's heart.

The two chatted happily, their harmonious dynamic warming Aiden's heart. This was the kind of family atmosphere he wanted.

Between driving and listening to their exchange, time flew. Before he knew it, they had arrived at their new home.

It was past 9 a.m., peak work hours. As the three stepped out of the car, they saw over a hundred workers bustling about inside and outside the villa.

"Mr. Aiden!"

One of the foremen, who had met Aiden before, jogged over enthusiastically, calling out from a distance.

His eagerness was understandable-Aiden had paid triple the market rate to expedite the renovations, making him a godlike figure to any contractor.

"Foreman Oscar, how's the progress?" Aiden handed him a cigarette before asking.

"It'll be done in a week at the earliest," Oscar replied.

"Good." Aiden nodded. With so much money and manpower invested, speed was expected.

After chatting a while longer, Oscar led them on a tour of the villa.

Though Aiden had seen it once after the purchase, the interior had since transformed. Previously empty rooms now held beds, making the space feel less barren.

"Three floors above, two below. Excluding the second basement level, the first basement and third floor combined offer over 1,500 square meters of usable space. Per your request, rooms designated for alternate uses were converted into individual bedrooms-about thirty in total, each over fifteen square meters. The bathrooms were also..."

Soon, Oscar had shown them around the entire property. Aiden expressed satisfaction not only with the progress but also the layout. At this rate, the villa could comfortably house twice the number of women currently in his home.

However, it's only like this for now. As he goes to more and more worlds in the future, a villa with a usable area of over one thousand square meters will still become crowded. He must make preparations in advance and cannot continue muddling along like before.

So, he still decided to buy a manor, and the sooner, the better.
