Seeing that Aiden had synchronized two magic with Rachel, Aurora slowly opened the ice wall.
The rumbling of the falling ice blocks was enough to startle them, they stepped back and prepared, some of them holding objects they used as weapons —grass forks, sickles, and kitchen knives.
They looked shocked, the people in the cave were not monsters, but Aurora and Aiden. Some of the villagers knew them, they were the saviors of Anveil Village.
"Oh, I thought there were monsters nesting in this place," a man said, able to breathe a sigh of relief.
One by one, they stepped down to leave the cave in the rock. A mage from the magic academy was still there, curious as to why Aiden and the others were in the cave.
"Why were you there? Then why do I sense magic fluctuations from inside?" the mage asked.
Aurora was annoyed —the hunger effect. She snapped at the mage for interfering so much, even though what Aiden was doing did not harm anyone.
