"You! Get away from him!" Aiden commanded.
They turned their heads, then looked again at the village chief. To Aiden's surprise, they chose to stand in front of the old man to protect him.
"I won't let you kill him!" insisted the chief's son.
Not only him, but all of the old man's family members did the same. Aiden shook his head, there was something wrong with them.

Undaunted by their stubbornness, Aiden again brought up the five fire arrows above his hand.
Aurora smiled with a grin, assisting Aiden by manifesting the three ice swords floating behind his back.
"You choose his life over the lives of hundreds of villagers? They've been haunted by this monster's terror for years and you don't think it's important?!" snapped Aiden, suddenly heard by the entire village.
"Oh, so you did it?!" another villager shouted.
"You killed my son, Village Chief!"
"You and your family are far worse than those monsters!"
"Let me help you kill them."
