Naruto immediately jumped back in alert and equipped kunai in his hands as the System's familiar blue screen appeared in front of his eyes.
Although Naruto knew that mere physical attacks could do nothing against the System, the kunai's cold steel still provided him with enough resolve to face whatever the system was going to throw at him. After all, the System had a penchant to kidnap people whenever it appeared.

Surprisingly, the System was quite considerate of Naruto's feelings this time and kindly told Naruto why it was here, completely unlike its previous cold and inconsiderate self.

[The Junior Moderator position is mostly for the development of the potential of a Shinobi who the System feels is worthy of its attention. As such, the position holder generally doesn't have any duties he needs to perform.
As for the benefits, the Junior Moderator can access the True System Shop which contains every item the system can offer. Moreover the system will also provide various kind of information as well as an early alert about the future events before they are held.]
"Am I the only Junior Moderator?" Naruto asked curiously.
[That's correct for now. While you are the first person selected for this position by the System, many more will be selected in the future once they prove their worthiness to the System.]
"Will the winners of the future events also be given the position of Junior Moderator?" Naruto inquired since this would allow him to recognise future Junior Moderators if it was true.
[Victory in an event will only make the System consider the Shinobi for the position. He or she will still have to prove that they are talented enough for the position.]
"Alright, let's see what you can truly offer, System. Open the True System Shop!" Naruto ordered the System excitedly as the general System Shop was quite lackluster for him.

"Damn!" Naruto couldn't help but mutter out aloud as his jaw dropped upon seeing what the True System Shop contained.
S-Rank Jutsu Scrolls, S-Rank Jutsu learning methods and even freaking Jutsu Scrolls containing Tailed Beast Bombs, though they were priced at fucking 200,000 Credit Points minimum with several variations of it existing, ranging to a maximum of 500,000 Credit Points.
Even the S-Rank Jutsu Scrolls were priced at 80,000 to 100,000 Credit Points with their learning methods being double that.
There was even the Jutsu Scroll of the [Super Tailed Beast Rasenshuriken Barrage] shown in the Scenario by the System at the end of the Jutsu Scroll section, obtainable at a bloody price of 1,000,000 Credit Points.
This made Naruto realise how precious the rewards he had received as the 1st Ranker were.
As Naruto's eyes to the True System Shop's Character Card section, they widened in shock.
There were fucking Kage level Character Cards available, ranging from the now deceased Kazekage Rasa's Character Card at 300,000 Credit Points to the legendary First Hokage Hashirama Senju's Character Card at 750,000 Credit Points.
Seeing that he would definitely not be able to purchase these Kage level Character Cards anytime soon, Naruto's eyes went to the Genin and Chunin level.
He found that the Character Cards started at 10,000 Credit Points for ordinary Genin, with Genin who had Bloodlines starting from 20,000 Credit Points.
Talented Genin were placed higher. For example, his own Sasuke Uchiha Character Card was worth 32,000 Credit Points. There was even Brother Itachi's Character Card from when he was a Genin placed at 40000 Credit Points.
However, Naruto's expressions suddenly turned to horror as he looked higher.
Because there was a Character Card placed at 50,000 Credit Points of none other than himself, Naruto Uzumaki, wearing an orange and blue coloured Shinobi jumpsuit which Naruto could swear that he had never seen in his entire life.
With trembling hands, Naruto tapped the details option on the Character Card only to find that not only could this Naruto Uzumaki use Rasengan but even enter a One Tailed State.
"Another me who has the Kyuubi sealed inside him. This confirms my doubts that the System can access a parallel dimension of the Elemental Nations."
The parallel dimension theory was something Naruto had read in a book about Space Time Jutsu written by the Second Hokage Tobirama Senju himself.
Naruto first had this doubt when he saw the Sasuke Uchiha's Character Card and his doubts were almost entirely confirmed when he saw another him in the Scenario.
"System, how can you access a parallel dimension of the Elemental Nations?" Naruto asked, hoping that the system would answer.

"Dang it!" Naruto cursed upon seeing the System's unhelpful answer.
"What is your purpose, System?" Naruto asked, trying to learn about System's motive for the Elemental Nations.
[The System aims to create the greatest Shinobi the entire Elemental Nations have ever produced.]
"For what!" Naruto questioned seriously.

Afterwards, Naruto asked a lot of questions to the system only to receive this answer most of times.
"What the hell is this Junior Moderator position even helpful for? The system won't tell me the truly important information and while the True System Shop has a great item library, it is useless to me for now a since I don't have much Credit Points currently."
By now, upon looking at both the general System Shop as well as the True System Shop, Naruto had realised that both of them existed only for claiming some extra rewards from the system. The true rewards could only be obtained in the System's events.

The System kindly informed Naruto as it listened to his complaints.
"Fine! I got it." Naruto said with a grumble as he dismissed the True System Shop since he had no use for it currently.
[Tell no one about your Junior Moderator position. You can only discuss it with your fellow Junior Moderators. If you reveal this information to anyone, your position would be revoked and you would be given severe punishment.]
"Alright! Alright!" Naruto put his hands up in surrender to show that he listened to System's words, knowing that it was defenseless against System's might.

I am really, really sorry for the sudden hiatus without any prior notice. I won't lie. I had almost decided to put the current story on permanent hiatus but I started to continue it after receiving some motivation from my family.
From now on, there will generally be a chapter update every 48 hours. I can't do any more than that as I would be busy writing another story which I would likely present to you in a month.
