Sword and flaming fist collided. Richard was immediately thrown a few meters back, and Luke was sent flying through the air.
Richard skidded along the sand and finally came to a stop. He looked up at Luke and saw him getting up as well.
"He withstood my attack. He withstood the attack of a sixth circle battle mage? Who is this person?" Richard asked.
He knew his strength, and despite the fact that he was not the top of this kingdom, he was still one of the best battle mages. Standing at a solid sixth circle, his strength was not to be trifled with.
In this world, mages and battle mages were categorized into circles, starting from the first circle all the way to the ninth. Each circle was a level of growth that had to do with the spirit zone.
The spirit zone was a sort of pseudo dimension that everyone had. One layer of the spirit zone meant that the person was in the first circle. And in that stage, all that mattered was pushing the size and strength of your spirit zone.
