Riven and Sofia made their way through the forest. If Quin had released demonized, then they were going to do this with even more effort; they would give their all to see those creatures die.
As they ran side by side, a demonized launched from their side, jaws wide open, ready to bite into Sofia. But Riven grabbed her and pulled her back, his eyes glowing for a moment as his sword traveled in an arc, flames erupting over it.
"Keep your jaws to yourself," he said, his tone cold and detached as the sword dug into the skull of the demonized.
Boom.
It hit the skull and cracked it, sending the demonized flying backward into a tree and blasting through the tree.
Riven didn't stop for even a moment. His feet kicked against the ground and he lunged forward, leaping into the air, sword in both hands, and coming down for a stab.
