~ODETTE'S POV~
The things he says, aggravated me to my core, not a serious bone in his body unless he's angry.
Still, even with all his annoying sarcasm, he made me smile.
I could feel his eyes lingering on me as I got out of the car.
Ambrose shut the car off and got out of the car.
"We seem to be having dinner guests, Damon just informed me." He said.
I looked back "Who? Isn't it a little late for a group dinner?"
"Important members of a neighboring pack. They got in not long before we arrived and are hungry." He responded with cool indifference.
"Are you sure you want me to join? Won't that bring unnecessary attention?"
"Yeah, well I want you with me. After today, I'd feel safer with you by my side." I couldn't believe his words.
