Yeah… putting on an act is the only way right now. I don't know how long it's going to take, though. It could be days, weeks, or even months. But I believe if we hold on long enough, Simon won't be able to resist. He'll get restless, lose patience, and eventually come down here himself.
"The mansion is your death stage, to be honest," I began, my tone sharp and laced with seriousness. The gravity of my words made Alfie's eyes widen even further, shock and disbelief flickering in their depths.
"Of course, even though this is all an act, Simon isn't the type to fall for it immediately. He's clever, cunning...too patient for that. He'll still be waiting, still expecting the five of you Alphas to return to the mansion, where he plans to skin you alive. But if you keep staying away, if words about me suffering reach his ears again and again, then he will have no choice but to come here."
