Zane's POV
I knew Alfie was going to be at the beach. Back then, when I stumbled upon the library at the mansion, I had seen a old journal written by the patriach no doubt which states that Alfie's mother loved the sea. After her death, the beach became Alfie's only solace. He would always go there whenever he was having a bad day, trying to feel closer to her again.
"I'll fuck you hard right here until your body trembles."
Those words resounded in my head, echoing without mercy, refusing to leave. My heart pounded faster than usual, hammering against my ribcage in fear and outrage.
How could he say such a thing? Like....seriously?! All because of some damn wet clothes?
I never expected Silas could be such a bastard, and bold too. If I had known that, I would never have brought him along on this search for Alfie. He pretends, sometimes, that he'll get over his feelings for me, but here we are...trapped together, with his obsession.
