I could see it....the flicker of fear in Zane's eyes when I told him I could rip Simon's throat out. What I couldn't tell was whether that fear was for me… or for Simon.
Either way, it unsettled me.
To be honest, I'm certain something is going on between them....something Zane is determined to keep from me. But whether he tells me willingly or not doesn't matter. I will find out. And when I do, I'll make sure Simon never walks away from it unscathed.
I can't ignore the fact that my boyfriend...my omega is this shaken over another man, especially when that man is a beta. A beta shouldn't be able to make him flinch like this. Whatever it is, whatever hold Simon has on him, I'll tear it apart.
