✿ CHAPTER 35 ✿
LEONARD'S POV
"I've settled everything needed for the company's 30th anniversary" Mr. Johnson took a seat opposite me.
"The anniversary will take place on the 15th of this month?" I asked
"According to your father's instructions, yes it will," Mr. Johnson said while going through the files in his hand.
"Hmm," my eyes kept drifting towards my room door.
"I heard there was supposed to be a board meeting?" Mr. Johnson asked.
"Oh right, I forgot-"
At this moment my stupid assistant barged into my office.
"Boss, The executives have been waiting!"
I rubbed my temples, I needed to change the pin of my office door immediately.
"Schedule the meeting for another day, I'm occupied right now"
"But sir- wait, are you still wearing the coffee-stained trouser?" Theo walked up to me.
"Don't come any closer-" but before I could stop him he was already beside me.
"Your trouser was stained with coffee?" Mr. Johnson asked.
"Yes, Miss Amelia spilled coffee on him at the-"
"Shut up Theo!!" I glared at him coldly...
USELESS ASSISTANT!!
"I'm sorry boss"
"Amelia spilled coffee on you?"
"But she was supposed to be on the last floor" Mr. Johnson asked.
"Yes, it was all a mistake, she left after apologizing" I lied.
"But boss, you told her to follow-"
I pushed the glass cup on my table onto the floor and it shattered, interrupting Theo.
"Oh my God, what happened?" Mr. Johnson was shocked to see the shards of glass on the floor.
"Boss, be careful!"
"it was just a slip of the hand, why are you panicking?" I said calmly like it was nothing as I glared at Theo from the side of my eyes.
"Boss, did I do something wrong?" he caught me glaring at him.
"Shut up and clean up this mess!"
"I should go look for Amelia..." Mr. Johnson stood up ready to leave.
"Yes, you should probably go find her...who knows, she might be in someone's office right now" I smirked.
"Boss, I should go get you a new pair of trousers" Theo disposed of the shards of glass in the waste bin.
"And where are you gonna get it?" I sat up
"In your room boss, where else would I get them?"
"Listen, you can't go in there-"
"Let him go get you a new trouser, you can't walk around with a coffee-stained trouser, can you?" Mr. Johnson said.
"Yes boss" Theo walked towards my room door.
I panicked
In the blink of an eye, I was right in front of my room door blocking Theo's path.
"Boss-"
"Look at me Theo, do I look like a child to you?"
"Uhm boss- actually you might be a little childish sometimes-"
"Shut up and answer the damn question!"
"Yes!" he answered as he stood stood upright.
"WHAT!!" I was stunned.
"How dare you call me a child you!!-"
"Just let him in already or I'll go in myself," Mr. Johnson said as he walked towards the door.
"Damn it all to hell!" I cursed inwardly.
