His armored Maybach pulled up, a dozen mall staff rushed to the entrance, adjusting uniforms and snapping to attention.
Zara stepped out of the car beside him, wearing one of the simpler silk dresses Kai had picked out earlier. It didn't matter. Her presence, even in simplicity, drew attention like a magnet. Heads turned. Phones came up discreetly. Whispers began.
