"You know, I just realized that since I discard the mask, we are going to stuck in this outfit." Commander said to Eleven as soon as they reached the next world.
The world they reached this time is a futuristic urban city. The city itself and the things are normal but they just have more futuristic design. The sky also looks more polluted. But almost everyone they seems to be a bit happy for a modern world. As if there is no struggle or depression.
"That's fine. We can just copy the money with our cards. I will just bumped into someone and stole their wallet." Eleven replied.
"No, we are not doing that shit. You even said we are gonna play hero." Commander pulled his hand.
"Relax, commander, I will give them back after I copy it."
"We are not making fake money. Also what items did you registered in the card for now?"
"Just a sniper rifle and a repair kit for our bodies. There's one free slot left. What about you?"
"Do you really have to bring a weapon? I mean, I registered explosives and this magic revolvers but they are just for strategic reasons. I also bring this camera in my backpack..." He tried to pull his backpack but he isn't wearing one.
"Crap, I must have forgot it in the lab when I switch the bodies. I guess we have to walk now."
"Also, do you notices anything strange about this world?"
"Now you mentioned it. It's pretty quite for a city."
"I meant everyone looks really happy for no reason. Don't you noticed it. I thought you are very powerful AI."
"Hey, most of my body was destroyed, Ok?"
"But first of all we have to do something about our clothes. I guess I will just get some quick bucks and buy clothes. Just do whatever you want in meantime, but just don't put yourself in danger."
Eleven ran off before Commander could say anything.
"And he left. I thought I finally have someone to accompany me."
*Honk* "Ouch" He was startled by a car honking near him.
"Great I just thought it was quiet but here are the cars. I will just go into the alley as last time. It's quieter that way."
"What if I scan the surrounding? I could get some useful intel like before."
He scan the surrounding and noticed the two unusual patterns. One place is big and the focus of the world and the another one is small but out of sync.
"The focus is coming from the huge building over there. But I've never seen that kind of out of sync pattern. I'll just check that out first."
He ran deeper into the alley toward the omnious pattern.
After reaching the point, he found two men and girl. The two men are the one emitting the unusual pattern
"Ok play cool. They are clearly trying to harress the girl. I need to help her but I hope I can do it fine."
"Hey. You two doesn't seems to be from around here."
'Ah, crap why did I say it that way.'
"Oh, lucky day huh. Another bunny just hopped into the trap. I guess we don't have to share today junior. Why don't you come here to us baby."
One of the men said to him thinking he is a young girl. He then shot a weird light from his hand toward the commander.
Luckly, he dodged it instantly and pulled out the revolver and aim at them.
"The hell did you just shot at me? I don't think people here can do that normally. Are you also from the different world?" He ask at them.
"Ah crap, she's from WHA. Quickly open the rift."
The another one opened a portal and two of them tried to run into it.
"Shit!" Commander quickly threw the explosive toward them just right before they get through it and it stick on one of them. He tried to followed them into the portal but the bomb exploded and the portal also closed before he could reach them.
"Well I hope they die. Clearly they are not good people. Or maybe I should just shot one of them and ask questions. Why did I even tried to kill them in first place?"
"Excuse me. Thank you for helping me." The girl thanked him.
"Could I get your number? I could threat you sometimes since you helped me."
The girl looks really calm and happy even though she almost get assasulted
"No, it's ok.. kah." His voice cracked.
His vision became blurry and he quickly dash away from her toward another alley.
"Crap, why do I feel my heart beating so fast? Thia body don't even have a heart. I was talking to those shits just fine but why can't I talk to her. I need to find out why I can't talk sometimes."
"Commander are you here?"
Eleven said tk him but he is nowhere near.
"Wait you are not here. How are you talking to me?"
"These androids have built in wireless communication. Also I found something odd here. You said everyone here looks happy right? I found someone who is not and also acting very suspecious."
"Let me guess, is it near the huge building at the middle of the city?"
"The car just left that building. Wait, how did you know that."
"I can sense something from it. Last time I sense something like that, there is a story. And when I interfere and save someone, I got a weird crystal. That crystal give me back some memories. Maybe we should..."
Another crystal appeared from the place the two men left and chase him and sropped when it reached his hand. The crystal this time is much smaller than last time.
"Commander what's wrong?"
"Another one of it just appeared before me. More importantly, it was after I chased away some thugs. They are also from different world. They got away but I caught them in my explosion."
"So there are more people from different worlds huh. We will meet at the back of that building. Can you come?"
"Ok, I'll be there in a short time."
Both of them head to the back of the huge building at the centre of the city afterward.
