The car finally stopped outside a small gate. They waited for a while before someone came can peaked through the window before he signalled for the gate to be opened. The manager drove in and parked the car before opening the door.
Ha-ru had been trying to look around and master the routes they had taken. He still wasn't used to how the routes were in this age and everything had changed so much new infrastructure, new buildings.
He slowly got out of the car his bag wrapped around his shoulder.
The parking space was quite small but it looked like it could fit a considerable amount of cars and seeing as ghe guard had to check their identity to be let in he assumed this was a reserved parking space for VIPs.
Ji-woon told the manager he could go and lead Ha-ru towards the entrance. Ha-ru looked back as they headed to the entrance to see the manager looking back at them his worry in his face but he didnt stop them so Ha-ru dismissed it with him being worried about his family or something in that nature.
He followed Ji-woon as they were met by a waiter in the entrance who whispered something to him and he nodded. He led them further into the club using another path that wasn't as crowded.
Ha-ru could hear the blurring music through the walls. He hadn't been to a club in so long. He wasn't really a fan of it. The first time he was forced to go to one he ended up with a headache so whenever his friends suggested it he shut them down or gave them any excuse possible.
The waiter finally opened the door he could hear chatter in the room as they walked in. He saw someone stand and approach them before giving Ji-woon a hug. She placed her hands around him as everyone else greeted him. Laughter filled the room at something they said but Ha-ru wasn't paying attention. He was already thinking this was a bad idea and how he could leave immediately.
"Ohh this is my co-star Ha-ru. " Ji-woon stated as he pulled Ha-ru closer by his waist taking him by surprise.
Ha-ru untangled his hand from around his waist and stepped back clearly uncomfortable with his gesture.
"I have met you somewhere. " one of the other people in the room stated while staring at Ha-ru intensely.
" never mind. " he stated after a while finally giving up.
"Did he already arrive?" Ji-woon asked taking a situation while the girl still clung to him.
Ha-ru sta on the opposite side making sure he had on the furthest side.
There was a large window overlooking the people dancing below. The room was big and there were drinks everywhere and pot set up in different spots.
"Would you like to drink anything?" One girl asked as she approached him her hands running through his body making his straighten his back.
He silently shook his head making the girl chuckle a little.
"Ha-ru let loose. How can I repay you if you don't have a good time!" Ji-woon asked as he drunk some alcohol.
Ha-ru didn't answer as he took a bottle of water and poured it in a glass he had taken from a tray.
He could feel eyes on him as he opened the bottle but the girl quickly took the bottle from him her smile quivering a bit as she placed the bottle down and took some whisky instead.
"This would be much better for you. " she insisted as she opened the whiskey bottle ready to pour some of the whiskey for him but he lightly pushed it away just as she was about to pour it.
"I don't drink." He stated smiling slightly at her and she watched him her eyes fixated on the bottle with Ji-woon smiling secretly across the table as he watched the scene unfold.
"Anna let him have his water. " Ji-woon said to her his teeth a bit clenched in warning. Her shoulders slumped as she sat back with a sigh.
Ha-ru poured himself some of the water and took a few sips before sitting back. He wasn't used to this setting at all everything was so loud and uncomfortable. He took a few more sips in intervals as he sat silently looking at the clock. Only thirty minutes had passed. He felt like the time was going slower than usual.
His right foot tapped on the floor vehemently as he sat there feeling uneasy.
The room was slowly filling up the more the minutes moved the girl from earlier had left the room and more girls had come in. More of Ji-woons aquintances had walked in. Some eyed him suspiciously before a knowing settled on their faces as soon as they saw him drinking the water.
He had already drunk two bottles of it. But he felt his stomach churn and his body a bit loose. Something he would have felt if he was drunk.
But he hadn't drunk anything so he dismissed it to him being tired. He browsed through his phone as he opened another bottle.
He slowly drunk from it. Excitement so intense filled his body. Every emotion he was feeling felt like it had doubled.
Anger, frustration, excitement. He looked at his phone. Fifty five minutes had passed. Only five more minutes and he would leave.
Suddenly just as he placed the third bottle down on the table he felt someone beside him.
His eyebrows crunched in question as he looked at the person. He hadn't seen him before maybe he had come in when he didnt notice. But he looked nervous. He was biting his lip and his eyes were dancing about. His expression looked like he was apologising when he had done nothing. Ha-ru didn't know him they hadn't talked so why would he apologise.
The clock finally struck. He picked up his bag. He had started feeling a bite dizzy and uneasy as soon as he tried standing up.
He slumped back on the chair as he shook his head. Laughter filled the room as he felt his breath get uneven.
What was happening?
