"What do you mean?!"
Seeing Izayoi's smile, Uchiha Madara suddenly had a foreboding feeling.
Izayoi raised both hands at angles clearly typical of normal posture, yet he assumed a condescending stance and spoke with a haughty look on his face:
"As a mixed-blood descendant of the Ōtsutsuki, you have no idea how overwhelmingly powerful the innate gifts of a true-blooded Ōtsutsuki really are!"
Madara's expression changed abruptly as he instinctively drove a Truth-Seeking Ball toward Izayoi, hoping to interrupt whatever seals he was making.
Though he did not know exactly what Izayoi was trying to do, Madara could deduce from Kaguya and Isshiki, plus the traits of the Six Paths brothers, that a horned Ōtsutsuki was born already vastly ahead of one who did not have horns.
A prime example was himself versus that "Ōtsutsuki Toneri."
He had only awakened the Rinnegan in old age, thanks in large part to sheer luck.
Ōtsutsuki Toneri, by contrast—going by Earth's standards, still under the legal drinking age—had long possessed the might of an ultimate dōjutsu, and he wielded with ease the Truth-Seeking Balls that Madara had only managed to obtain via the Six Paths Sage's legacy plus absorbing the Miko's power.
Regarding such a blessed being effectively born at the finish line, who knew what trump card he still concealed?
After all, the illusions shown in that "past vision" were precisely what Izayoi wished him to see—who could say what more he hid?
Hence interrupting him was the best move.
The Truth-Seeking Ball, flying over, had yet to near Izayoi before it began glowing brilliantly white, brimming with annihilative force as if about to detonate any second.
Madara simultaneously manipulated the rest of his orbs to liquefy into a single black sphere, wrapping his body inside it just before also activating Limbo: Border Jail, producing four shadows. If Izayoi tried using a Truth-Seeking Ball to block, those Limbo shadows would unleash Six Paths Senjutsu on him.
Izayoi only sneered. His figure vanished without warning.
Boom!
With an ear splitting roar, blinding white light erupted in space, covering a large area.
Wherever that pure white radiance extended, scattered chunks of meteorite—rather than being visibly disintegrated bit by bit—were erased on contact, as if some sort of "rule-based" power was wiping them from existence.
Hiding within his own black orb, Madara could sense something amiss, and his face grew taut with alarm.
He realized that, beyond the zone of white light, Izayoi had suddenly reappeared on the surface of a meteor chunk.
For two days and two nights of battle, Izayoi had deliberately left Flying Thunder God marks all across various objects in this region.
Because wielding the "chakra orbs," Izayoi didn't even need to touch targets physically—he could fire a greenish light-ball that exploded on impact and used creation-power to affix a Flying Thunder God formula to anything hit by the glow.
By the time he stood on the meteor chunk, Izayoi formed a seal with one hand, and seven chakra orbs around his wrist glowed a bright teal hue, dropping onto the meteor's surface.
A seven-layered formation instantly emerged.
As dazzling white light ignited, a Wood Clone disguised with Toneri's appearance—complete with borrowed chakra—suddenly materialized at Izayoi's side.
But this Wood Clone's chakra reserve was over a hundred times Izayoi's.
Hence Madara's shocked reaction.
Gazing out from within his sphere, then quickly emerging and trying to fly toward Earth, Madara realized instantly that Izayoi had just refilled his chakra from that massive Wood Clone.
Indeed, the moment Izayoi laid a hand on the clone's shoulder, he absorbed all its yin-Kyūbi chakra. Then, before it could vanish, he used a Truth-Seeking Ball to erase it.
In the blink of an eye, a vast swell of chakra again coursed through Izayoi, greenish aura enveloping his body in Tenseigan Chakra Mode.
But he did not chase Madara immediately. Instead, he first restored the supply of chakra beads, then took one bead and shaped it into a metallic object bearing the Flying Thunder God mark—then used Heavenly Transfer to "airdrop" it above Madara's head.
A second later, Izayoi appeared overhead Madara.
Madara, anticipating some move, fired a purple laser the instant Izayoi arrived. He hoped to slice Izayoi in two—just as two nights prior, that Storm Release beam had cut apart a Truth-Seeking Ball.
Alas, after unlocking the Ōtsutsuki Bloodline (Multi-Color), Izayoi's teleporting carried no lag. And he had already grasped another ball in his hand, embedding "chakra orbs" into it. Just upon emerging, he morphed the ball into a brilliant golden beam.
When the golden beam collided with that violet laser, the latter was scattered, and the golden radiance continued onward with near-lightspeed momentum, filling Madara's field of view.
If his body were swallowed up by that beam, it would almost certainly be over—even for Madara. That blast contained the Truth-Seeking Ball's property to negate existence entirely. Even the spirit itself, if hit, would be irrevocably damaged.
Just when it was about to hit Madara, it halted five centimeters away—like meeting an invisible barrier. A moment later, that barrier buckled, flinging Madara backward. Then that same barrier collapsed in turn.
In Izayoi and Madara's eyes, the "invisible barrier" was a Limbo shadow that got shattered, unable to reform.
But Madara seized that chance. Staff in hand, he clashed with the golden light once more. Thanks to the Yang power that formed his Six Paths staff, it refused to be cut.
For two days and nights, both men had withheld from using anything too large-scale. Now each was throwing in every last ounce of chakra. Izayoi swiftly fused the rest of his balls with "chakra orbs," forging them into a coruscating rainbow beam, while Madara tried a last push.
Madara Lost—and Survived
Yet the final blow was not immediate. Summoning the rest of his balls, Madara forced them all to self-destruct in a final brilliant swath of pure white, trying to counter Izayoi's newly formed "rainbow sword." The white glow's erasure clashed with the polychrome brilliance that threatened to reduce Madara to nothing—both sides contended, but white exhausted itself before the rainbow did.
Madara was battered away, slammed into an unknown planet. Dazed and half charred, even his hair burned off, with nearly half his right torso dissolved—he had escaped the rainbow only to crash in a shockwave forming a colossal crater on that alien globe. Lying in that crater's center, eyes half-lidded, Madara glimpsed Earth's faint outline far behind him…
At the point of near-despair, he felt a flicker of "vitality" from the environment. Realizing he still retained enough "Six Paths chakra," Madara forced out a trembling single-handed seal:
"Summoning Jutsu!"
In a swirl of white mist, the Gedo Statue (Outer Path Demon Statue) appeared. Connecting a white rod to his body, as he'd done decades before, Madara stabilized. He and the statue vanished in more mist, reappearing who-knows-where—beyond the Tenseigan's search range.
Meanwhile, Izayoi had returned to where he started—riding a newly-created throne of "chakra orbs," scanning his personal status screen with a pensive frown.
At the moment Madara lost all hope of controlling his body, essentially accepting death, three beams of light flew from him. One beam shone with the same hue as Izayoi's Rainbow sword—"colorful," signifying a Multi-Color-graded trait. The other two beams were respectively red and purple. They sank into Izayoi:
"Ding! You have obtained the talent entry Bloodline Limit: Rinnegan (Multi-Color). Merge or disassemble?"
"Ding! You have obtained Sage Body (Red)—merge or disassemble?"
"Ding! You have obtained Summoning Mastery (Purple)—merge or disassemble?"
After quickly disassembling Sage Body (Red) and Summoning Mastery (Purple), Izayoi's points soared beyond seven hundred thousand, though he was still short of nine hundred ninety-nine thousand.
He hesitated over whether to break down the newly acquired Bloodline Limit: Rinnegan (Multi-Color).
Disassembling a red entry yields random six-digit points. A color entry was still unknown, but presumably might be random seven-digit points. That could net him 1–9 million points at random. Even the unluckiest roll would surpass a million, letting him easily upgrade any red trait to multi-color. If luck smiled, he might even get nine million, thereby able to push multiple traits at once, or explore any further grade beyond color.
Faced with that gamble, Izayoi was sorely tempted. At the same time, if he rolled the "minimum," it might be just a million or so. Then it would be back to zero chance of reacquiring a multi-color Rinnegan soon.
After a few minutes, he steeled himself:
"Fortune favors the bold—if I keep hesitating, I'll never get anywhere. Let's do this!"
Raising his head, Izayoi gave a decisive shout:
"Disassemble!"
