Things were relatively peaceful for the Billion Bloodline after the trouble with Dud and his allies. With those enemies dealt with, the group could continue growing through its various business ventures, expanding in several directions as it had before.
If anything, nearly all of those businesses had experienced a considerable boost.
Other businesses were reluctant to interfere with anything backed by the Billion Bloodline. That gave the group more freedom to expand its territory without constantly worrying about someone attempting to stop it.
There were fewer people willing to test the group's strength as well.
When the Billion Bloodline had first reached the level of a syndicate, some had assumed that its rapid rise would have left it weakened. They had tried attacking, hoping to take advantage before the group had time to recover.
The Black Hounds and the Fallen Rose had dealt with those attacks. Since then, there had been almost no further attempts.
