The scene shifts to Tokyo, at the Advanced Materials Research Institute. Himuro Gentoku commends Steve:
"I heard that you answered all the test questions correctly. That's impressive. However, your resume states under work experience: 'Maybe a physicist.' What does that mean?"
Steve explains, "I lost my memory before. That's why I'm uncertain."
"I see," Himuro Gentoku says softly. "Your task is to analyze this item."
He presents a strange artifact. "This was discovered on Mars. It's called Pandora's Box. It's said to contain an energy source more powerful than nuclear energy."
Steve is amazed. "That's incredible! A civilization more advanced than Earth…" He scratches his head, making his signature tuft of hair stand up. The audience from the three realms chuckles at his antics.
"That strand of hair is so amusing!"
On the screen, Himuro Gentoku asks, "Do you know about the tragedy of the Sky Wall?"
Steve responds, "I read about it. At the return ceremony for the Mars rover, Pandora's Box emitted a strange light, and then the Sky Wall appeared, right?"
Himuro Gentoku elaborates, "Not just the wall. Everyone exposed to the light of Pandora's Box became abnormal. Their aggressive nature was awakened, and the country was divided into three factions as a result."
Steve is shocked by the revelation. The audience in the three realms is equally astounded.
"This box is terrifying!" "It caused people to turn on each other and split the nation! That's outrageous."
At this moment, Himuro Gentoku receives a phone call. "I'll confirm it immediately," he says, moving to a computer. On the screen, an urgent news report is broadcasting:
"A prisoner has escaped from Toudou Central Prison in the C4 area. The fugitive is Manjo Ryuga, 23 years old. He was convicted of murdering scientist Katsuragi Takumi a year ago and was serving a ten-year sentence."
Gentoku's face darkens. "Manjo Ryuga? He killed one of our researchers."
The report continues: "This morning, Manjo Ryuga incapacitated the guards and escaped again."
The people around are surprised. "He escaped? That's incredible!"
Meanwhile, Steve receives a message from Ishido Soichi: "Have you seen the news about the prison break? A slammer reaction has been detected on Manjo Ryuga."
The scene shifts to a coffee shop. Ishido Soichi explains, "Manjo Ryuga used to be a fighter but was disqualified due to match-fixing. A year ago, he was accused of murder and sentenced to prison. The sensor detected something, but no one has seen a monster yet. I hacked the GPS of the stolen motorcycle. I'll send you the location."
Steve sets out on his motorcycle. Soon, he encounters Manjo Ryuga and immediately confronts him. "Who are you?" Ryuga shouts, confused by the sudden attack.
Steve remains calm. "I'm here to capture you, the murderer!"
"I didn't kill anyone!" Ryuga yells in frustration. "I was framed, but no one believes me!"
The audience discusses his plight.
"He seems innocent." "Yeah, it feels like he was set up."
Steve retorts, "Escaping prison doesn't help your case."
Ryuga responds angrily, "If I go back, they'll experiment on me again!"
"Experiment?" Steve's expression shifts. He senses deeper layers to this situation.
Ryuga recounts his harrowing experience. "I was attacked in prison by a bald guard and experimented on by people wearing gas masks. They tied me to a table and…"
The memory leaves him trembling. The audience in the three realms is horrified.
"This is inhumane!" "What kind of evil organization would do this?"
Steve now believes there might be truth to Ryuga's story. Suddenly, a monster – a slammer – appears and attacks. Steve fights back, but Ryuga is also targeted and thrown to the ground. Despite the chaos, Steve remains composed. "Leave this to me."
Transforming into Rabbit Tank Form, Steve declares, "The law of victory has been determined!" His attacks are precise, mathematical in execution. The slammer is quickly overpowered. Steve changes forms again, using his hedgehog upgrade to deliver the final blow.
"Ready, go! End of vortex!"
Following a parabolic trajectory, he executes a devastating kick that defeats the slammer. The audience marvels at his intellect and skill.
"Even his attacks are scientific!" "A true genius."
The defeated slammer reverts to human form. Ryuga recognizes him as one of the masked experimenters and demands answers, but the man seems to have lost his memory. Frustrated, Ryuga turns to Steve. "Both our bodies have been tampered with. You have to believe me!"
Steve nods. "If that's true, then this is part of the slammer experiments."
Before they can delve further, Gentoku arrives with guards, demanding Ryuga's surrender. "He's innocent!" Ryuga protests, but the guards aim their weapons at him. Feeling helpless, Ryuga collapses, hammering the ground in despair. "Why won't anyone believe me?"
Moved by Ryuga's plight, Steve makes a decision. "I'll probably regret this, but…" Tossing his phone, it transforms into a motorcycle. "Get on!"
A stunned Ryuga climbs aboard, and they escape together. Gentoku orders his men to pursue them. "Capture them, dead or alive!"
The chase is intense, with guards firing rockets at Steve. He deflects them with ease, sending one rocket back into the pursuers. The audience is awestruck.
"Steve is unstoppable!" "He even redirected a rocket!"
Eventually, they evade their pursuers. Ryuga, still processing Steve's actions, asks, "Why did you save me?"
Steve smiles. "Because I believe you. It's as simple as that."
Ryuga is touched by his words, and the two fugitives drive off into the night, ready to uncover the truth behind the experiments and Pandora's Box.
