Sarah and the others had made it to the basement. For their luck nobody had made it that far, thus there was no one down there. They ran to the elevator sited at the end of the path, Sarah at the front, painting hard. From behind her she could hear Rick's voice, still this didn't make her slow down: 'How would he get up there in the first place? Yes, you told us about his ability and I still gotta digest all that, but isn't he tired by now?' 'I don't know myself. He just told me to meet him up there. That's why we must hurry!' They reached the elevator which took them outside, however, it was not the same building where they had been before. They all immediately noticed the clouds that had gathered together and the blue light in their center. 'This must be him!', Sarah uttered. 'We must hurry! I'm sure after launching this attack he'll be exhausted and that's the last thing someone would want at the moment!' She stared into the far. Yes, the ghoul had found their way into the building but there were still enough soldiers fighting outside, holding the line. However, looking at the numbers of the ghoul it was sure that they would not live to see the next day. Sarah bitted her lips at this sight and her grasp around gun and the black box tightened. (Sarah: There is nothing I can do for them! They are going to die!) Emilia joined Sarah's right, reassuring her: 'Miss President, it's alright! We knew that this job could get us killed. Well, we didn't know that we would face, you called them ghouls right? But still, be it a human, a tank or even a ghoul, at the end of the day it's the same. You have a much more important mission right now! We must stop the launch of the bombs or we won't have a world to protect anymore!' Sarah nodded. While the ladies had been talking Rick had already started the helicopter. Emilia helped Sarah into the helicopter and then herself hopped in. And the helicopter took off.
Nade was still standing there and the tiger was struggling to free himself. Once again, he let out his powerful cry, shattering the ice covering its fur. And of course as unprotected as Nade was his body wasn't left untouched. First tears in his skin emerged and he spat blood. It took him all just to stand there. He had stared his attack but the demon inside him had given him problem, delaying the attack. Nade had taken care of it and thus he restarted his attack. The tiger dashed at him, its fangs and crawls further extended and damn sharp. In his current shape Nade he wouldn't survive another attack from the tiger. Thus, he didn't lose time anymore. 'Ice Age – Heavenly Punishment – Dragon Roar!' Out of the light an immense snake-like ice dragon shot out, flying straight at Nade. The tiger ceased his attack for all his instincts told him to evade the attack. It turned around, ready to sprint but just then the dragon roared and the roar froze the tiger's legs and the ground it was standing on. And then the dragon crashed into the building with a speed impossible for the mere human eye to follow – booooooommmm!
Sara and the others were baffled. Rick pointed at the huge smoke screen and asked: 'Wait! You want me to fly there, Miss President?' 'Yes, Rick!' Rick obeyed. As they came closer the rotor blades swept the smoke away. The whole building was gone yet there was a thin fragile pillar on which Nade was standing. He was gazing into the air and when he saw how Sarah let down the rope, he grinned. But he didn't have the strength left, let alone remain upright. And when Sarah noted that she plunged over the plane, nearly stopping Emilia's heart with it. With one hand Sarah grabbed the rope and with the other one the hand of Nade. Just in time for the brickle pillar collapsed right away. With a faint voice Nade asked: 'And where are we going now?' 'To the nearest airport and then right to America!' And with a grin Nade blacked out.
Meanwhile on the motorway
Dean had switched with Sark and now he was driving. Sark was next to him, taking a nap, just like Hope and Jessie. So Larah and Dean were now the only ones awake. And Larah broke the silence: 'Crazy how our first meeting since years has turned out! Ghouls, dark priest and whatever. One could say we are in a movie!' 'Only that we aren't sadly! To say the truth I pretended to date him to make you jealous, but well it didn't work and before I knew I was in a relationship with him. Well, he fucked up and ended in a prison!' 'What do you mean with fucked up?' 'I had seen his true colors and damn he was crazy as fuck. So, I decided to break up and he wasn't really pleased by that. Short story, I called the cops and when they arrived Ezra killed most of them. After reinforcement joined the fight Ezra was taken to a prison.
