The final phase of Arc 2 is here already. The final phase aims to tie up all loose ends of the story so far and it will be the shortest phase.

TW: MENTIONED OF R*PE (No scenes, no actions nothing. Just one word of mention to show the consequences.)

The arc will end soon and I am actually sad at writing today's patreon chapter.

Anyways, hope you enjoy the double upload.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was over 1000 years ago, back when Narxuia wasn't just a scarred battlefield but a thriving world divided into four continents—each ruled by its own dominant species. Elarion, home to the elves.

Durnskar, land of the dwarves under King Fennick and his fiery wife Queen Thrynn.

Korvath, the orcish plains governed by King Lae and his queen, Vrala. And finally, Xytheris, where demons roamed freely, led by none other than Lilith herself.

These lands were connected yet distant, their people wary of one another's natures.

But amidst this fractured unity stood two figures who defied every expectation: Meredith, the first-ever Elf Queen, and Lilith, the First Demon Queen whose love for battle knew no bounds.

Meredith wasn't like most elves. While her kin valued grace, diplomacy, and magic, she carried an edge that made her stand out—a fierce determination that rivaled even Lilith's destructive energy.

She was strong, not just physically but mentally as well. And her power?

Well, she was one of the few beings in all of Narxuia capable of matching Lilith blow-for-blow on any given day with her wind and water magic.

And somehow, despite their differences, they became friends. Best friends even.

How did such polar opposites find common ground?

It started during one of the Ascension Tournaments—an event held once every century at Elarion or now known as the Royal City. The purpose of the tournament back then was to determine new royalty across the realms.

Elves, orcs, dwarves, and demons would gather, putting aside their disdain for each other long enough to compete. Meredith entered as a contender from Elarion, determined to prove herself worthy of becoming queen. Lilith showed up because… well, Lilith always showed up.

Battle was life to her, and these tournaments were playgrounds for her insatiable hunger for conflict.

Their first encounter ended in stalemate. Neither could best the other, though both fought with everything they had. Instead of walking away enemies, they laughed at the absurdity of it all.

"You're infuriating." Meredith said, wiping blood from her lip after their duel.

"But you're really strong, demon."

Lilith grinned, "Likewise, elf. We'll have to do this again sometime."

And they did. Over the years, they grew closer, bonding over shared victories and losses. Their husbands, Sorien, Meredith's calm and wise partner and Asmon, Lilith's loyal counterpart joined them in their adventures.

Together, the four formed a strange alliance, balancing each other's strengths and weaknesses. Sorien, a master tactician, often mediated disputes between Meredith and Lilith when their tempers flared. Asmon, a demon king almost as fearsome as Lilith herself, trained alongside them, ensuring neither side gained too much of an upper hand.

Lilith's life goal besides leading her people to prosperity, was to beat Meredith in a fair fight and get her to eat meat with he. Since elves before, were strictly vegetarian, she wanted the duel to mean something to the both of them. Meredith naturally agreed to this as she was confident that Lilith would not able to beat her even for centuries.

While life in Narxuia wasn't perfect, it was stable for a time with these leaders leading the nations. That is, until the First Cataclysm.

No one saw it coming. One moment, the skies above Narxuia were clear and bright. The next, a rift appeared and emerged creatures unlike anything anyone had ever seen—Fallen angels and weeping angels.

These invaders didn't speak. They didn't negotiate. They simply destroyed everything in their path, reducing entire cities to ash within hours. Entire armies fell before them, their weapons useless against the overwhelming might of beings who seemed to exist beyond mortal comprehension.

But Fennick, Lae, Meredith and Lilith refused to give up. Alongside their husbands and wives, they formed a resistance to fight against the angels. For years, the war dragged on, grinding down everyone involved.

Hope dwindled with each passing day, but Meredith never stopped searching for a way to end the madness. Her heart ached for the countless lives lost and she believed there had to be another solution besides endless slaughter.

One fateful night, she approached Lilith with a plan.

"I'm going to talk to them." she said firmly.

"If we can understand why they're here, maybe we can stop them without more bloodshed."

Lilith scoffed, "You think those monsters will listen? They don't care about us, Meredith. All they want is destruction."

"That may be so..." Meredith replied softly. "But if there's even a chance, I have to try."

"DON'T GO DAMMIT! as Lilith grabbed her hand "You'll die! These fuckers will just kill you!"

She walked away and Lilith tried to go after her but she blocked it with wind pressure,

"MEREDITH! DON'T GO PLEASE! THEY'LL KILL YOU! MEREDITH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Against Lilith's protests and Sorien's disapproval, Meredith ventured alone to meet the leader of the Fallen Angels. Of course, not without leaving a trail of bodies behind her; the angels guarding their stronghold fell like wheat before her blade.

But what happened next remains shrouded in mystery even to Lilith.

The outcome, however, was undeniable.

Meredith died.

Her body, broken and lifeless, was delivered to Lilith's gates as a message. Her severed head rested on her chest, almost mockingly placed there like some twisted trophy.

When Lilith found her friend mutilated on her doorstep, something inside her broke. For the first time in centuries, she cried. Tears streamed down her face unchecked and her heart broke.

She shakingly grabbed Meredith's head and looked at it with despair,

"No...no...."

Her knees fell down to the ground and she cradled Meredith's head with her trembling hands. She hugged it desperately against her chest as though sheer force of will could bring her back.

"Meredith...why...please tell me this is all a bad joke..."

Her voice cracked and her tears kept coming, "No… no, no, NO!"

"You stupid elf… you STUPID ELF! You promised me another fight, damn it…YOU PROMISED ME MEREDITH! YOU SAID WE WERE GOING TO EAT MEAT TOGETHER ONCE THIS IS ALL OVER!"

She remembered the conversation they had on why Elves were such vegetarians and how that was boring.

"When I beat you, you have to try some meat! Especially my honey glazed meat! It's seriously good! Besides, veggies are boring as hell"

"Pfft...sure Lilith. I'll try some meat if you could beat me."

She clutched Meredith tighter as the memories hit her like a wave. She rocked back and forth as sobs wracked her body.

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH MEREDITH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH MEREDITH! WHY!!!!!!!!!!????????? AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! I'LL KILL THESE BASTARDS! I'LL KILL EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM!"

Rage bubbled beneath the surface, threatening to consume her entirely. And then, in the midst of her anguish, a soft light enveloped the outside gates. Lysandra appeared—a figure of ethereal beauty, clad in flowing robes that shimmered between pink and white.

Her presence radiated calm, but not to the heart of Lilith.

"You've suffered greatly." Lysandra said gently.

Lilith's grip tightened around Meredith's head. Slowly, she looked up at the goddess, her crimson eyes blazing with fury.

"Who...the FUCK are you?"

"I am Lysandra." the goddess answered, unfazed by the hostility directed at her.

"The God of Narxuia and the goddess of love."

"Love? Hahahaha. LOVE!?" Lilith barked out a bitter laugh, rising to her feet.

"Oh, THAT'S rich. Love doesn't exist anymore, sweetheart. Not here. Not after THIS."

She gestured violently toward Meredith's mangled form. "So unless you're here to resurrect my fucking friend, get the HELL out of my sight before I burn you down."

Lysandra's expression remained serene, though a flicker of sadness passed over her face,

"I...cannot undo death, Lilith. Even gods have limits. I however...intervened still because I no longer can take it anymore."

"Oh, REALLY? Then tell me this, oh mighty God. WHERE THE FUCK WERE YOU WHEN THIS WAR STARTED!? HUH!? WHERE WERE YOU WHEN MY PEOPLE WERE TORTURED AND MUTILATED!?"

"WHEN THEY BURNED OUR CITIES TO ASH?! WHEN THEY STARVED OUR CHILDREN AND RAPED OUR WOMEN LIKE ANIMALS!?"

Her voice rose to a deafening roar, shaking the very ground beneath them. Black flames erupted around her,

"YOU WATCHED MILLIONS DIE! YOU PROBABLY SAT THERE ON YOUR FUCKING THRONE AND LET THEM TEAR US APART PIECE BY PIECE! AND NOW YOU JUST DECIDE YOU CAN'T 'BEAR IT ANYMORE'!? IS THAT IT!?"

"YOU THINK SHOWING UP NOW MAKES YOU SOME KIND OF SAVIOUR!?"

Lysandra didn't flinch, though she had her head down.

"I am bound by rules older than time itself." she said quietly.

"Even gods must tread carefully when interfering in mortal affairs."

"BULLSHIT!" as Lilith lunged forward to Lysandra, only to be stopped by an invisible barrier.

She pounded her fists against it, black flames scorching the air where they struck.

"IF YOU'RE A GOD, THEN I'M FUCKING GLAD I'M AN ATHEIST! BECAUSE YOU SUCK! DO YOU HEAR ME!? YOU FUCKING SUCK! YOU WATCHED PEOPLE DIE FOR FUCKING YEARS AND NOW YOU DECIDE TO COME!?"

"YOU SHOULD'VE FUCKED OFF YOU HEAR ME! YOU SHOULD'VE NEVER SHOWN YOURSELF!!!!!!"

She kept screaming at Lysandra for minutes before she collapsed to her knees once again as exhaustion and despair overtook her.

She still clutched Meredith's head to her chest,

"People starved to death… their bodies burned alive… torn apart by those fucking angels and fucked like some animals...Tell me, you useless piece of shit, WHY ARE THEY HERE!? WHAT DID WE EVER DO TO DESERVE THIS!?"

Lysandra had the look of guilt but couldn't say what truly happened,

"It… it wasn't supposed to happen this way." she admitted,

"The Outer Beings—they weren't meant to invade. Something went wrong. A fracture in the veil between worlds opened and they poured through it. By the time I realized what had happened, it was already too late."

"Too late?" Lilith repeated hollowly, "That's your excuse? Too late?"

Lysandra knelt beside her, placing a hand on her shoulder despite the waves of hatred rolling off Lilith.

"I cannot undo what has been done. But I can offer you a choice, Lilith. A way to end this war once and for all."

"What kind of choice?"

"A fraction of my power." Lysandra said.

"Enough to turn the tide of this war. Enough to destroy these invaders and protect what remains of Narxuia. But it comes at a cost."

"What cost?"

"The power may change you." Lysandra warned.

"It will corrupt your soul, twist your mind and make you do things that you may end up regretting. You may never be the same again."

"Do you still wan—"

"You think I give a damn about my soul!? Look around you! LOOK AT HER!" She gestured at Meredith's body.

"My best friend is DEAD because I couldn't save her. My people are DYING because I'm not strong enough. If taking your powers means ending this nightmare, then do it. DO IT NOW."

Lysandra hesitated for abit before nodding solemnly. She raised her hands and a surge of energy coursed through the air, wrapping itself around Lilith like a cocoon.

As the transformation completed, Lilith's mana and power had grown a hundred fold because of it. She walked out of the cocoon and turned to Lysandra,

"This better work, 'God.' Because if it doesn't, I'm coming for you next."

Empowered by grief and anger, Lilith unleashed devastation upon the angels. Every strike levelled entire continents and her black flames consumed entire legions of angels while absorbing their powers.

Against all odds, she turned the tide of the war and ended it. She decapitated the head of the fallen angel and weeping angel and declared with pride,

"PEOPLE OF NARXUIA! WE HAVE WON THE WAR! WE WILL NO LONGER BEND TO THESE ANGELS AND GODS! WE WILL RULE BY OUR OWN FUCKING POWER!"

"NOBODY CAN HURT US ANYMORE!"
