"Courtesy first, soldiers later? Or should we just get straight to the fighting?"
Gopelmu was silent for a long moment. He looked at Fu Zhu and then at Acheron, whose right hand was already resting on the hilt of her sword. He gave a cold laugh.
"In that case, I will amicably ask you two to leave Penacony. Will you both comply?"
Fu Zhu and Acheron exchanged a glance. Acheron spoke to Gopelmu in her icy tone, "I still have unfinished business in Penacony. My apologies."
Gopelmu nodded and turned his gaze to Fu Zhu. Fu Zhu simply followed up with a shrug.
"Same here. I have a date with a girl in Penacony. Asking me to leave would be a bit difficult."
After hearing their replies, Gopelmu let out a cold laugh.
"Hehe, so what you said earlier, Mr. Fu Zhu, was utterly meaningless."
From the crowd of 'people', one of the Pippexi men suddenly raised his hands. The ground beneath Fu Zhu and Acheron began to split into blocks, then twisted and reassembled like a Rubik's Cube. The two of them were carried into mid-air by the fragmented ground, then dropped rapidly.
Then, the block-like pieces of ground suddenly formed two gigantic hands, catching the falling Fu Zhu and Acheron in their grasp.
Seeing this, Gopelmu couldn't help but laugh. "To be honest, I must thank that Masked Fool. If she hadn't specially prepared a Memoria bubble to gather all of you troublemakers in one place, I really would have had a hard time making a move. After all, clashing with two Envoys would inevitably cause damage to the surrounding architecture. But in here... I don't need to worry about that at all!"
The two giant hands clutching Fu Zhu and Acheron began to squeeze, as if trying to crush them. But despite this, Gopelmu couldn't see a single shred of pain on their faces. It was as if the ones trapped weren't them at all.
Fu Zhu looked around at the ground, which had been cut into blocks, with great interest. He turned his head to Gopelmu and said, "I didn't expect you to be a block player too. But your creativity needs some work."
Seeing Fu Zhu so relaxed, Gopelmu couldn't help but feel a little nervous. His opponent was an Envoy of Finality, yet from the very beginning, he hadn't shown any of the power befitting an Envoy.
"Fu Zhu, show me what you've got. Even if you're an Envoy of Finality, this is The Family's territory. I am the master of this dream, and everything here is at my disposal. Even if you join forces with that lady Acheron, you are no match for me."
"Join forces?" As if hearing a funny joke, Fu Zhu jutted his chin towards Acheron. "This one's mine. Don't you dare try to steal my kill."
Acheron tilted her head in confusion. Shouldn't they be joining forces to defeat the enemy and then quickly regroup with their companions?
But since Fu Zhu had said so, and his expression didn't look like he was giving up, Acheron nodded in agreement.
"Then find yourself a good spot to watch the show."
Fu Zhu immediately switched to Observer Mode, turning intangible and slipping free from his restraints. He then flew behind Gopelmu's group of incarnations.
Gopelmu's heart sank when Fu Zhu suddenly vanished from the giant hand's grasp. As expected, a petty trick like that was too naive to restrain an Envoy. But where was he? Where did he go?
"Why don't you look behind you?"
Hearing a voice from behind, Gopelmu immediately spun around. He saw that Fu Zhu had appeared behind him at some point and had secretly placed several pistons behind his group of incarnations, all of which were connected by Redstone dust.
Fu Zhu smiled and raised his hand, pointing his index finger at his own temple as he spoke to Gopelmu, "As a fellow block player, I have to tell you something. Sometimes, blocks aren't just for building. They can also be used to smack your enemies."
The moment he finished speaking, the pistons he had placed activated, their heads suddenly extending and heavily smacking into Gopelmu's incarnations.
The sudden force was so great that Gopelmu's incarnations didn't even have time to cry out before they were sent flying into the wall.
Gopelmu immediately commanded the remaining incarnations. They clasped their hands before their chests and began to chant.
Fu Zhu instantly noticed a [Harmony's Chord II] buff appear in his status bar. Without hesitation, he pulled out a bucket of milk and chugged it down.
"Music can not only soothe one's emotions, but in extreme cases, it can also cause harm."
As Gopelmu's voice fell, countless musical notes materialized from the mouths of the incarnations and flew swiftly towards Fu Zhu. But in the next second, a series of sword flashes flickered, and the notes reversed direction, flying straight back towards their creator.
Gopelmu was shocked by Fu Zhu's counter. He couldn't help but be stunned as he commanded his incarnations to dodge the returning notes, all while questioning Fu Zhu in disbelief, "Why can you reflect my attacks? That is not a power Finality possesses!"
Although the notes he had released were visible, they were fundamentally a form of energy. A normal physical attack shouldn't be able to affect them!
Fu Zhu slowly sheathed the Demon Blade "Hiruko" in his hand, then raised an eyebrow at Gopelmu and said with a laugh, "You may be the master of this dream, and the rules of this dream may be yours to command, but I have my own rules. If you have anything to say, say it to my Yamato!"
Fu Zhu suddenly flicked the guard on the Yamato's hilt, causing it to be unsheathed by an inch. The next second, several slashes of light shot out, instantly cleaving through several of the incarnations in front of him.
Gopelmu's brow twitched. Such fast slashes! He hadn't even seen Fu Zhu's full draw. Could this be the power of Finality?
He also noticed something else. After cutting down his incarnations, Fu Zhu made no other moves. Could it be that using the power of Finality had some kind of side effect?
Holding onto this suspicion, Gopelmu once again rallied his incarnations to attack Fu Zhu. But this time, learning from the lesson of his own attack being reflected, he had them spread out and attack from different angles. The form of the attack also changed from musical notes to invisible sound waves.
He refused to believe that Fu Zhu could reflect sound wave attacks!
However, in the next second, a scene that shocked him even more occurred!
Fu Zhu simply raised his right hand and spun in place. Four walls materialized out of thin air, enclosing him completely. Although the cobblestone walls shattered the moment they were hit by the sound waves, they had still managed to block all the attacks for him.
Just as Gopelmu was reeling from shock, a brilliant golden pillar of light suddenly enveloped the raven's body where he had been secretly hiding.
[Legendary enemy Gopelmu has awakened in the vicinity]
Seeing the system notification that had suddenly popped up, Fu Zhu finally couldn't hold back his smile.
"Finally."
